Wild golden heart faced beauty. My first bird friend. The feeling of your lightness is forever etched in my sense memory. Thank you for staying with us all these years and for everything you taught me with your fierce and graceful spirit. Your wings may not have worked in this life, but I trust they will in the next, and hold the vision of you flying free forever in my heart 💎🪽 by @raaachelannna

My baby cosmic Beagle and 19 year old me. ❤️❤️ We found each other late night outside a taqueria in Roseland. It was 11pm and I watched as she ran as fast as she could up the road… and then right up to me…immediately rolling over to let me pet her belly. I knew in that moment, that was it. Even before no one claimed her (later to learn she was most likely an escapee from an animal testing lab) I knew we were meant to be. At the time, and even more now, she felt like an Angel whose Spirit was woven with mine. Her presence saved me back then and continued to throughout these 17 years of being together. She was the sweetest soul, the best snuggler and had only love to give. I know we will always be together and I do feel her here… but I miss her physical form so much it hurts. I miss her softness and the comfort of her warmth and sweet smells and little sounds… and her loud excited baying howls when she’d sniff out a squirrel. I miss staring into her big Cleopatra puppy eyes and kissing her big Snoopy nose, smelling flowers together on our walks and taking naps in the grass in the sun. Poppy, my Monkey, my Baby Girl, my dream doggy… I love you with all my heart, always and forever. Thank you for being my soul-puppy. Thank you for being my guardian Angel now and always. And thank you for crossing the rainbow bridge while the poppy’s are in bloom… they are a beautiful reminder of you and your universal eternal existence. When it’s time, we will meet again… I know it. ✨✨ by @raaachelannna

I wish I could be in Israel with you and your family and loved ones as they lay you to rest. Loving you always and forever my dear sweet Shmulik. I am so deeply grateful to have known you and been close to you in this life. You brought so much joy and love and light and compassion to everyone who had the privilege to know you and to anyone who crossed your path. You brought so much love and support and happiness into my life, even through the recent years when you were half a world away. You had the biggest heart, a genuine desire to help and heal, and literally the best laugh. I wish you had gotten to feel the sense of accomplishment you so deserved when you were to officially become what would have been the worlds best doctor… and in only a couple months time. You worked so hard for so long and I am so very proud of you. I was always telling you how much I loved you and how proud of you I was and how much you meant to me… but I still wish I could tell you again and hear you receive my love and admiration, even just one last time. Thank you for being all that you were and all that you will forever be. I will always miss you and wish you were here and nothing but a phone call away. Until we meet again… your memory is a blessing. 💫 עליו השלום by @raaachelannna
