Be the woman who knows how to steward what is already in her hands.

Hey sis, sometimes we're praying,
“God, give me more.”

More! More!! More!!!

But what are you doing with what you already have?

Sis, don't despise your current season because it doesn't look like your future. There is preparation happening here.

Ruth didn't become part of the lineage of Christ the day she arrived in Bethlehem. There was a season of faithfulness before her story became significant.
So too was Esther, she wasn't crowned queen the day she was chosen.

There was a season of preparation before the palace.

So steward your field!

Be faithful with what God has already placed in your hands.

Today, I woke up with a burden to speak to every teenage girl who follows me here.

Dear Teenage Girl, You Are Not Less!

I want you to know that you are not less beautiful, valuable, or worthy because of any part of your body that you struggle to appreciate.

I know there are days you look in the mirror and wish something about you were different. You wish you had a different shape, a different complexion, a different smile, or some feature that you have spent so much time wishing away. You look at other girls and wonder why you couldn't look like them. I understand that feeling because I have been there.

There were parts of my body I felt so inferior about that I allowed them to affect how I saw myself. I know what it feels like to carry insecurities that nobody knows about. But cupcakes, I need you to understand that you do not have to spend your teenage years fighting a body that deserves your kindness.

One thing I wish someone had told me earlier is that you can spend so much time wishing you had someone else's features that you completely forget to appreciate the person God created you to be.

You can become so occupied with what you think is missing that you fail to see the beauty of who you already are. And please, don't allow social media, friends, comments from people, or unrealistic beauty expectations to become the mirror through which you see yourself. People will always have opinions, trends will always change, and there will always be someone who looks different from you. But none of these things determines your worth. Your body is not a competition, and you do not have to earn the right to feel good about yourself by looking a certain way.

Today, I want you to know that freedom from insecurity is possible. I once struggled with these feelings, but God helped me see myself differently. He began to teach me that my identity was not in the parts of my body I was unhappy with but in who He created me to be. And that changed so much for me. I want you to experience that freedom too.

Don't wait until you look a certain way before you give yourself permission to live and appreciate the life God has given you.

Maybe someday, I will share a full video detailing how this particular man pursued me relentlessly and almost wouldn't let me rest until I gave him a yes.

Regardless sisters, knowing the mind of God concerning every marriage proposal is so important.
Before you give someone your yes, make room to seek God's wisdom.

LET THIS ALSO BE A REMINDER THAT SOMEONE'S PERSISTENCE IS NOT NECESSARILY PROOF OF GOD'S APPROVAL.

A man can be intentional about pursuing you, but you must also be intentional about seeking God's direction. Don't allow the pressure of his expectations to rush you into a decision you haven't found peace or clarity about.

You are allowed to take your time and seek God too.

Please, don't let anyone's urgency become the reason you abandon your discernment.

Be the woman whose life is a reflection of the Spirit of God at work within her. A woman who understands that beauty is not only in how she presents herself, but also in the character she carries.

Let love shape how you treat people, let joy remain your strength, let peace guide your responses, and let patience teach you how to handle moments that do not go as planned. May kindness, goodness and gentleness become evident in your dealings, even when nobody is watching.

Be the woman who does not allow anger to have the final say, who does not use harsh words to prove a point, and who understands that self control is also a sign of spiritual maturity.

You don't have to win every argument, respond to every provocation or repay every unkindness.

There is strength in gentleness, wisdom in restraint and beauty in a heart that is being transformed by God.

Dear sister, as you pray to become a woman prepared for the beautiful things ahead, don't neglect the work of the Holy Spirit in your character. The fruit of the Spirit is not a performance you put on to impress people; it is evidence of a life surrendered to God.

Before you become someone's preferred choice, allow God to keep growing His nature in you. Be a woman whose character makes the presence of Christ evident.

Which of the fruits of the Spirit do you sense God is inviting you to cultivate more intentionally in this season?

Happy New Month and New Week!
This season we are staying rooted in God and embracing all of His goodness in every area of our lives..... by @rachaelunuigbe

NOT EVERY SINGLE LADY IS IN THE SAME SEASON!

Some are in a season of healing, some are rebuilding their confidence, some are discovering purpose, some are learning responsibility, some are growing spiritually, and others are preparing for new opportunities.

Your journey may look different from that of your friends, and that is perfectly okay.

AND THATS PERFECTLY OKAY!

Some seasons require patience. Some require healing. Some require learning. Some require courage, discipline and intentional decisions.

The reason you feel weary is not necessarily because your season is difficult, but because you haven't yet understood how to navigate it.!

Sis, there is something beautiful about a woman who doesn't have to be persuaded to do good, who sees an opportunity to make someone's life a little easier and responds with a willing heart.

She doesn't always wait to be asked before she shows kindness, and she doesn't need an audience before she does what is right. She has learnt that being a blessing is not always about having plenty to give; sometimes, it is a word of encouragement, a thoughtful gesture, a sincere prayer, a listening ear, or simply showing up when someone needs support.

Dear sister, as you become the woman God is shaping you to be, don't become so consumed with your own prayers, plans, and expectations that you forget to be a blessing to the people around you. Yes, you are trusting God for certain things, and yes, there are areas of your life where you also need help, but your season of waiting does not have to be a season of withholding goodness.

You can be trusting God for a job and still encourage someone who feels discouraged. You can be praying for your own breakthrough and still celebrate another woman's testimony without envy. You can desire to be loved and still give love in healthy, genuine ways. Being a blessing does not mean neglecting yourself, pleasing everyone, or giving beyond your capacity. It means having a heart that remains generous, thoughtful, and sensitive to the needs of others while honouring your own boundaries.

Sis, I want you to become the kind of woman whose presence brings something good into the lives of others. Let your words give courage, let your hands be willing to help, let your heart make room for compassion, and let your resources, no matter how little, be available when God leads you to give.

Be the woman who doesn't only pray to be blessed but also makes herself available to bless others.

Sis, there is something powerful about a woman whose life speaks even before she opens her mouth.

A woman who doesn't just talk about godly character but allows it to be seen in the way she lives, treats people, handles disappointments, and makes decisions.

It is easy to tell people what they should do, but it takes intentionality to become an example of what you preach. Your life is constantly communicating something, whether you realise it or not. The question is, what are people learning from watching you?
Are they seeing the values you profess reflected in your everyday choices, or are your words taking them in a direction your lifestyle does not follow?

Let people see kindness in your response, integrity in your dealings, humility in your attitude, and maturity in the way you handle difficult situations.

You don't have to announce that you are a woman of character; let your consistency reveal it.

And remember, leading by example doesn't mean you will never make mistakes. It means you are humble enough to acknowledge when you are wrong, make things right, and allow God to keep working on you.

So, dear sister, don't just be the woman who tells others to pray; be the woman who makes room for God in her own life. Don't just speak about love, let it be evident in how you treat people who have nothing to offer you.

Your life is a message, and someone may need to see what you are becoming to believe that growth is possible for them too.

You may never know who is learning from your example, but make it your desire that the life you live points people back to Christ.

After all, the most powerful lessons are often not the ones we teach with our lips, but the ones we demonstrate with our lives.

I love weddings!!!
Honestly, if I had my way, every Saturday, I would be attending weddings even the ones I wasn't invited to.

I love that moment when two people look into each other's eyes and say, "I do."
There is something so beautiful about watching two people make that decision, standing before God, their families, and everyone who has come to celebrate them.

I love the thought of two people genuinely in love, choosing each other, and making a commitment to build a life together. To me, it is one of the most beautiful sights to behold.

I love witnessing the beginning of a journey, the hope in people's eyes, and the beauty of two people choosing to become one. And every time I witness it, I find myself thinking, What a beautiful thing it is to love someone and choose them, not just for the wedding day, but for the life that comes after it.

But beyond the beautiful dresses, the decorations, the music, and the celebrations, what gets me is the meaning behind those two words, I do. The willingness to choose each other, to grow together, to keep showing up, and to do the work that marriage requires. Because marriage is more than a beautiful wedding day; it is two people deciding that the life they want to build together is worth being intentional about.

So to every sister who desires marriage know this truth, it is beautiful to dream about the day you will say "I do," but it is equally important to prepare for the days when loving, choosing, and staying committed to that person will require more than beautiful feelings.

Are you prepared?
OR
Are you preparing?
