Killer Pecans was featured in two Father’s Day gift guides. With the biggest gift giving season of the year just a month and a half away, it’s a great time to revisit them to find gifts for all the men in your life! Killer Pecans is our favorite on these lists! 😉. Links in bio. by @rachelferrucci

#AD I consider myself a professional grandmother. They call me Mimi, and I take this job VERY seriously.

Do I bake cookies? Nope. Wrong Mimi.

But when the grandkids are coming, I have a system. The fuzzy blankets come out, the special popcorn buckets are ready, about 100 tiny animals appear, the pop-up tunnel is open, and my phone is charged because silly selfie training starts at infancy around here. By 6 months, they know their angles.

And I love having things at my house so Mom and Dad don’t have to pack up half of theirs every time they visit.

For the littlest ones, that includes the @IngenuityBaby InLighten Bounce 3-in-1. It goes from swing to seat to bouncer, has 6 swing speeds and 14 built-in soothing options, plus Bluetooth so Mimi can provide the playlist. Although I’m still waiting for Ingenuity to officially add David Cassidy.

I also love the Ingenuity 3-in-1 Activity Center because it grows with them. It starts as a jumper with a 360° rotating seat and engaging toys, then transforms into an activity table and floor toys as baby grows. Basically, it understands what grandparents learn very quickly: these kids do NOT stay little for long. And the babies like to jump around like the bigs. Jumping on the furniture is allowed at Mimi’s

We dance to the Time Warp, watch Marvel movies under our assigned fuzzy blankets, act out I Love Lucy, take ridiculous selfies and make a whole lot of memories.

Because I don’t think being a grandmother is about baking the perfect cookies. It’s about creating those little traditions that someday make them say, “Remember when we used to do that at Mimi’s?”

Have a happy Grandparents Day on September 13! And if you need to get the house ready for the babies, follow @IngenuityBaby

Skin over 50 is a whole different ballgame. You know the one. One day you’re fine and the next you’re asking, “When did THAT happen?”

I learned that as we age, our skin cells can slow down and don’t renew themselves as easily. So I decided to give this area some extra attention. I started a 90-day journey using Cetaphil Skin Activator Hydrating and Firming Cream on my décolletage, and I documented along the way because I wanted to SEE the difference.

After one week, my skin already looked more hydrated, smoother and less crepey-looking. By one month, it looked visibly firmer! with improved volume and density. It simply looked healthier. And now at 90 days, I can really see the difference. My skin looks firmer, smoother and more supported.

It uses Skin Activator Technology, combining microdosed AHA to help with skin renewal and encapsulated CICA to help support the skin barrier, hydration and firmness.

For me, this was never about making my 50+ skin look 25 again. I’ve earned this skin! But menopause, aging and life change our skin, and sometimes our skincare needs to change too. I gave it 90 days, stayed consistent and let my skin have the time it needed.

Because over 50, I’m not chasing younger skin. I’m taking better care of the skin I’m in.

The perfect 16th birthday party!
When you’ve invited 100 people to a party, the last thing you want to do is spend all your time creating apps and cooking. When my daughter was planning the big shindig, I had @boarderie send 2 charcuterie boards.
Being Italian it wasn’t easy to give the reigns to a stranger. To my surprise the Birthday Classic Cheese & Charcuterie Board was amazing.
Chef-made & delivered fully-arranged with artisan cheeses, meats & pairings on a reusable wood board. Customized with 16 carved in cheese & complete with candles & confetti.

The Birthday Dessert Board was a dream come true for those with a sweet tooth. Complete with artisan chocolates, brownies, cakes, truffles, toffee & more. Smash the chocolate box for a surprise!

Btw- the wooden trays are beautiful and you’ll be using these over and over.

I have a lot of get togethers with friends and family so Boarderie is my new Go To!

Check them out! They’d be perfect for Labor Day and the holidays!!

Have you experienced Florence?

I didn’t realize how much poor sleep was affecting my trips… until I fixed it.

Waking up tired, adjusting to new places, different beds, time zones… it adds up fast.

Traveling with the AirMini changed that for me. It’s compact, simple, and makes it easy to stay consistent no matter where I am.

Now I actually feel like I’m experiencing my trips, not just getting through them.

Check it out at the link in my bio.

We were guests for dinner on the rooftop overlooking Roma at @sofitelrome. Every course, the service, the view, the experience…. Squisito!!

As a tiramisu expert, this had to be the best ever!

Have you been to Roma?

#ad No one tells you that your skin doesn’t just “age”… it changes.

Dryness, dullness, fine lines, that crepey texture… it’s not just time. It’s hormonal.

I kept layering on creams thinking I just needed something “better,” but nothing was actually addressing what was going on underneath.

M4 from @myalloy is different. It’s prescription skincare made specifically for hormonal skin, using topical estriol to help restore collagen, hydration, and elasticity right where your skin needs it.

It doesn’t enter your bloodstream. It works at the skin level. And honestly… it just makes sense.

You’ll find a replica David in the square but going to Accademia Gallery in Florence and seeing this breathtaking statue by Michelangelo is 100% worth it, whether you like art or not. His right leg has a tree stump which balances the entire statue.
