We’re looking for our 2027 Ecstatic DJ’s! 🤩 We already received many applications, so we thought it would be a good idea to share this guide on what we look for. We hope to inspire, invite, and to be honest in what is important to us 🙏🏼✨ Does this sound like you? We would love to hear from you! Email us a recent set to info@ecstaticdancefestival.org 😍 Know someone who rocks it like this? Tag them in the comments! Deadline for entry is JANUARY 📍 Ecstatic Dance Festival CYPRUS 12-17 September2027 (Pre-Party 11th 🎉) EDIT: ONLY Ecstatic Dance DJ’s need apply. & Please only apply if you honestly tick these boxes… and of course if you can make the festival dates. E.g. If you currently only have ever played less than 20 sets for Ecstatic Dance then this wouldn’t be enough experience yet (yes-even if you are a pro DJ! It has to be specific Ecstatic dance experience and practice) So If this isn’t you THIS year, then you know next year we also want a fresh lineup! So hopefully you are inspired to keep going, refining, serving your medicine :) Big love family! **Also… the order is meant to be 1,2,3, FOUR 🫠🙃 by @rachiflows

✨ MEET OUR FOUNDERS - RACHI & RICHARD ✨ As we move into our 6th edition of EmboDAYfest, it feels like the perfect moment to share a little more about the two souls behind it and the journey that brought us here… Our story has taken many forms: creators, collaborators, romantic partners, & now deeply loving friends. Through every chapter, one thing has remained constant - a shared calling to create sacred spaces where people can come together, drop into their bodies, dance, connect & celebrate life 💛 When EmboDAYfest was born in Spring 2023, we were a couple. Together for a year and a half, we dreamed, created and discovered what could happen when our different strengths came together around one shared mission. Since then, our relationship has transformed. What has emerged is a friendship that feels like family - built on trust, loyalty, kindness, admiration and a whole lot of shared history. Creating together has always felt fun and surprisingly smooth. Our different strengths and similar vision just fit 🧤 🎶 Rich is co-founder & leader of EDUK, & has been DJing and creating conscious dance spaces for 7 years. He is the operational force behind EmboDAYfest - bringing together the sound, production, artists and all the pieces behind the scenes that allow the magic to happen. 🔥 Rachi is a DJ, facilitator and festival organiser with a passion for bringing people together. She is co-organiser of Ecstatic Dance Festival Cyprus and a touring Ecstatic Dance DJ. A natural people person, Rachi is more front of house, bringing her energy to marketing, decoration, community connection, organising team & visioning the future of EmboDAYfest. Astrologically, we’re similar - both Gemini rising with Aquarius Moon (Vedic) often sharing the same vision and heading in the same direction, just with very different styles & strengths. We usually have the same instinct when it comes to choosing the lineup ✨ Since that first gathering in 2023, EmboDAYfest has brought hundreds of people together to move, feel, express, connect and dance to incredible music. & while our journey together has been beautiful, the transitions haven’t always been easy… continued in comments) by @rachiflows

📍 This Saturday only - 17.10.26 Hackney @eastwaybaths 🌟INTRODUCING🌟our festival theme! EmboDAYfest — Return to the Roots 🪾🍁🍃🫀 Beautiful dancers, we’re so excited to officially introduce the theme for the 6th edition of @embodayfest ✨ We love holding this gathering at this time of year. Moving into the season of harvest, we feel the invitation to slow down, integrate and release after the heat and intensity of summer 🔥 So we invite you to reconnect with yourself, tend to your roots & check in with the seed of who you are 🌱 Our theme weaves through the offerings we’re choosing for the day… and our main room lineup is almost complete. And wowwww ✨ ALL of our first-choice artists said YES! We love the alignment, it tells us that its going to be very special 💜 We also feel that this is the time of year when the saunas really come into their own! 🪵 Warming your bones, sweating, releasing, purifying & integrating. There’ll be some extra magic happening in there too… we’re having a lot of fun plotting 🤩 & of course, in true EmboDAYfest style, we’ll close the day with one huge, wild, joyful ecstatic rave ❤️‍🔥 And we invite you to play with the theme through what you wear - express yourself, your roots, where you come from, who you are and the magic you carry inside. Who are you, underneath it all? What lives at your roots? What magic do you carry inside you? Have fun with it! 🪶🍂🫀 All the earlybirds have all flown 🕊️ Grab a general release ticket before they go imminently via the link in bio ❤️ We are so excited to dance and reunite with you all family! 📸 by the amazing @teodora.andrisan by @rachiflows
