✨😊 About Me 😊✨

Hi, I’m Zuzana.

I create magical companions from wool. Angels, fairies, and other whimsical beings, through needle and wet felting. This isn’t just a craft for me, it’s my passion, my meditation, and my way of bringing a little magic into the world.

My creations are inspired by nature, crystals, and the unseen forces that guide us. Each piece is made slowly and mindfully, with love and respect for beauty, spirit, and the small moments of wonder in life.

I’m also a mum to a special‑needs child, a lifelong lover of art and dolls, and someone who believes in exploring magic, ancient wisdom, and the quiet whispers of the universe.

My studio is my sanctuary, a space where creativity and heart meet. 💜

I love sharing my creations and connecting with kindred spirits who appreciate the magical, the beautiful, and the unusual.

And I’m endlessly grateful to everyone who enjoys my art, shares in the magic, and supports handmade creations. Your encouragement allows me to keep creating with heart and keep the magic alive! Thank you. ✨

I experimented with wet felting again 💖 and created some beautiful fabrics for my felted fairy projects. ✨

I just want to share a little glimpse into the process and the amazing history this ancient craft holds. Wow... It's so much more than just a fun hobby... this a real magical connection to something really deep. 💖

At the end, wet felting is an ancient craft practised for thousands of years across cultures. Using just wool, warm water, soap, and a little friction, fibres tangle and bind into strong, lasting fabrics.

Unlike dry needle felting, which was only invented in the 1980s, wet felting is one of the oldest textile arts in the world. It predates weaving, knitting, and spinning by thousands of years!! 😯😯

There’s something so joyful and healing about connecting with this ancient energy. Shaping wool with your hands, water and soap... just like our ancestors did. 🫧💛

I posted a reel yesterday about the beautiful tweed scraps I recently received from the Three Sisters on the Isle of Lewis, and now I just wanted to share a few photos of this little scarf I've made for my new doll (who is still very much a work in progress).

It's a very simple little piece, but I love the colours and texture of this fabric, and how easy it was to work with. It's fairly thin but incredibly soft. It's really lovely to be able to add such a special feature to my doll, using something so beautifully handmade and made from 100% wool.

I just love this! 💕

There is still quite a bit of work ahead of me, but it's such a joyous journey! 🐑✨😊🐑

Look at this beautiful tweed! It is handmade by the 'Three sisters' from the Isle of Lewis in Scotland. Even though these are just scraps, I am so excited to weave them into my upcoming doll projects. The fabric is incredibly soft and woven from 100% wool. Because the sisters raise their own sheep, every thread comes straight from their family flock. Holding this in my hands, you can just feel the love and craftsmanship. Such a luxurious, special fabric! 💕🐏🐑 #tweed #woolfabrics #isleoflewis #TheWeavingShed #DollMaking by @radiant_heart.1111

MONDAY POSITIVITY – A Little Monday Thought

💛💛💛 I welcome rest and stillness. 💛💛💛
---------------------------------------------------------
We live in a world that seems to be constantly rushing. There's so much going on, so much stress and chaos around us. Most of us feel we need to keep going. There's always something to do, somewhere to rush to, someone to see and hundreds of other things demanding our attention. And before we know it, we're caught up in the chaos and busyness of the day.

I have a feeling that we often get so busy getting on with life that we forget to actually enjoy it! But now, more than ever, it's so important to practice awareness and make an effort to slow down. To stop, take a deep breath and welcome a little stillness and peace. Enjoy the garden, the park or the ocean. Listen to the birds, watch the clouds drift across the sky. Enjoy a cup of tea without doing three other things at the same time. Or simply have a little daydream. No rush, no agenda, nothing that needs to be completed. Just a moment to ourselves.

And you know what? We don't have to earn the right to enjoy these moments of rest and stillness. Rest is not a reward for being productive. It's part of self-love and looking after ourselves.
---------------------------------------------------------
So, this week.... we invite you to make a little more room for stillness. Let's let go of any guilt about doing nothing for a while. Let's remember that life isn't just about doing... life is mostly about BEING. Let's unapologetically enjoy all those amazing moments when we simply stop, breathe and enjoy being here.

Stillness is the space where your true thoughts rise above the noise. It's also where creativity can flourish and solutions to problems can become clearer. Let's rest more, dream more, feel more grounded and find a little more peace within ourselves.

Meet Lila — The Little Laughing Fairy, a tiny spirit of joy and playful magic. 😁

Some fairies seem to carry a little sparkle of happiness wherever they go, and Lila is one of them. With her sweet laughing expression, soft coppery mohair braids, and gentle lavender colours, she brings to mind warm afternoons, woodland secrets, and the kind of laughter that makes an ordinary day feel enchanted.

Lila’s face is sculpted from baking clay and carefully hand-painted, while her entire body is lovingly needle-felted by hand. Natural nettle-fibre cord wraps around her tiny body, adding delicate texture and an earthy touch. Hidden inside her soft felted form is a little dried lavender, bringing a gentle and calming scent.

And of course, she has her own beautiful crystal - a mystical Charoite, with its distinctive purple patterns! I love how it complements Lila’s lavender tones and gives her another little detail to treasure. 💎✨

Every part of Lila is handmade, from her tiny face to her woolly body and delicate finishing touches. She is a one-of-a-kind piece of fantasy art, created for collectors and anyone who loves little things with character, imagination, and a touch of magic.

I imagine Lila as a comforting little amulet — a tiny companion to hold gently in your hand or display somewhere special in your home. May she remind you to leave room for laughter, find joy in little things, and never lose your sense of wonder. 🌷💜

Meet Skye — Whisper of the Sea, a tiny fairy with the soul of the ocean. 💙✨

Imagine the gentle sound of waves reaching the shore, sea foam dancing on the water, and pale blue skies stretching endlessly towards the horizon. This is the little world I imagine Skye belongs to. She is a delicate blue fairy with a peaceful expression, pure white woolly locks, and a beautiful Larimar crystal. Her soft colours remind me of calm waters, ocean mist, and the blue sky.

Her face is sculpted from baking clay and carefully hand-painted, while her entire body is lovingly needle-felted by hand. Her hair is made from soft, natural white wool locks. Delicate rose-fibre cord wraps around her tiny body, creating a beautiful pattern that complements her gentle colours. Hidden inside her soft felted form is a little dried lavender, adding a subtle, soothing scent.

And then there is her Larimar crystal 💙. Its beautiful ocean-like colour feels so fitting for this little sea spirit, as though she has brought a tiny piece of a peaceful blue lagoon with her.

Every detail is individually handmade, giving Skye her own character and quiet presence. She is a one-of-a-kind piece of fantasy art for adult collectors and anyone who feels drawn to the sea, gentle colours, and the quiet magic of tiny things.

MONDAY POSITIVITY – A Little Monday Thought

Every Monday, the fairies, angels, other magical beings and I gather in our little circle and bring you something positive to start the week with. Sometimes it's a positive story from somewhere in the world, and sometimes it's just a little thought to ponder.
-----------------------------------------------------------
And today, we've been chatting about this one:

💛💛💛 I choose to make today a great day. 💛💛💛
-----------------------------------------------------------
I wonder how many lovely little things we miss because we're too busy thinking about what we need to do, what went wrong yesterday, or what might happen tomorrow?

What if, just for today, we practice awareness and look at things a little differently, more consciously? We can notice the brightness and warmth of the sunshine, slow down as we take that first sip of tea, really taking in its flavour and scent. We can have a little giggle over something silly, tightly hug our children, our parents, friends or pets, or simply notice that funny little squirrel burying the nut!

We can just enjoy the simple, ordinary things that make us happy and help us be present in the moment. All these little moments add up, and when evening comes and we reflect on our day, we can enjoy that warm feeling inside... because it was a great day!

You see, our days don't need to be filled with big, new and exciting things in order to be perfect. All we need to do is make a little space for happiness, notice those good, ordinary things, and become a little more aware of them. Then every day becomes an adventure! And although we may not know what it will bring, we can choose to meet it with a curious heart and a willingness to enjoy whatever good things come our way.
-----------------------------------------------------------
So, let's see what this day has in store for us. Who knows? There might be a little magic waiting just around the corner. 🩷

A little glimpse into the making of my new spirit doll...

I'm starting to work on a new doll, and today I wanted to share a little part of her creation with you.

Before I began working on her body, I intuitively chose the plants and little treasures that would go inside her. There are some dried autumn berries, Japanese maple seeds, an autumn leaf from an ancient oak, a little nettle... and a small amethyst crystal. 💜

I didn't have a strict plan when choosing them. I just followed my intuition and picked the things I felt drawn to. This new doll is going to be **the Seer**, and she will have amethyst eyes, so the little crystal felt like a natural choice for her.

As I did with my previous spirit dolls, I also pulled an Angel Oracle card to help me set an intention for her. The card I received was *Sacred Plan*. For me, this card is all about trust. Trusting that we are here for a reason, even when we can't see the whole picture. Trusting that there is a greater plan unfolding, and that we don't always need to know exactly where we're going or how everything will work out. Sometimes, we just need to trust and take the next step. 💜

I'm using pure white Corriedale wool to create her face and body. For me, the white represents the purity of our souls and all the good intentions we carry within us when we come into this world. Before life, with all its experiences, challenges and lessons, begins to shape us, there is that original part of us that comes here with love, hope and a purpose. 🤍

And perhaps this is also part of her message... to remember who we are beneath everything life places upon us, and to trust that this goodness is still there, even when we lose sight of it.

She's only at the very beginning of her creation, but already she has a story starting to unfold... I'll share more as she comes to life. 😊

Meet my little family of my five handmade fairies! They are finally finished and I am so pleased how they turned out. It was so much fun having a go at something a little different :-).

I’m happy to share they are now listed in my Etsy shop so if you would like to become their keeper, you will find them here (or please feel free to DM for a direct sale): https://www.etsy.com/shop/RadiantHeart1111?ref=seller-platform-mcnav

Each fairy is lovingly made by hand, with a sculpted and hand-painted baking-clay face, a fully needle-felted wool body, natural plant fibres, and a little dried lavender tucked inside for that calming gentle scent. Each one carries its own beautiful crystal and has a unique personality and story of her own.

💜 Amara — Keeper of Quiet Magic, with amethyst
🌸 Lila — The Little Laughing Fairy, with charoite
🌿 Fernia — Woodland Heart, with green aventurine
🌊 Skye — Whisper of the Sea, with larimar
🍇 Berry — Ember of the Hidden Grove, with carnelian

These little beings are more than felted figures to me — they’re tiny works of art, made slowly and carefully, with lots of little details and a touch of woodland magic. I imagine them as comforting little amulets to treasure, to hold and to display somewhere special in your home. They will always remind you that magic is all around you.

Thank you so much for supporting handmade art and the little worlds we create. 💚
