I hate being perceived so being perceived based on any assumptions would be even more difficult for me to deal with.
Learning to navigate that through therapy and in general taking social media lightly but the work i do with more serious intent.

Eventually this account has become an echo chamber but as a person with some capacity to discuss and also from a position of privilege I want to spend more time talking about things that can be a resounding point for others who don’t see it the way I do. by @radxbone

Maharashtra’s new Clinical Establishment’s Bill doesn’t have any provisions to prevent detention of patient bodies.

Clinical Establishment’s Bill is an anti-patient bill being passed without public consultation.

No donations have come in since my last appeal. We have had to borrow again, and I now owe about $200 for our family’s basic needs. We need continued support to repay this debt and cover daily essentials. Please donate if you can, or help our story reach others by sharing. Link in bio. 💚 by @radxbone

Slide 1: What is CEBill MH
Maharashtra Clinical Establishments Bill, 2026 seeks to replace the Maharashtra Nursing Homes Registration Act, 1949 that currently governs hospitals and clinics in Maharashtra. While the need for regulatory overhaul in the medical sector is long overdue, a close examination of the 2026 Bill reveals that it is in fact a Medical Deregulation Bill.

The bill is expected to be discussed in the Maharashtra Assembly in December 2026.

Slide 2: Why do we reject it?
The Clinical Establishments 2026 Bill has weak regulatory mechanisms and dilutes hard-fought patient rights. It must be rejected in its current form and amended to create a strong and accountable institutional mechanism to fulfil the Bill’s stated goals of ensuring “transparency, accountability and adherence to minimum standards” in the functioning of clinical establishments.

Slide 3: What are our demands?
1. Standardize and regulate procedure rates to prevent overcharging
2. Legally enforce all 20 Patient Rights under the National Patients’ Rights Charter and MNHRA 2021
3. Ban detaining patients or withholding deceased bodies due to payment issues.
4. Restore District & State Grievance Redressal Cells with toll-free helplines
5. Establish legally binding, evidence-based standard treatment guidelines
6. Create a powerful and accountable State Council with wider representation of independent members

Slide 4: Who we are?
We are a collective of Concerned residents of Maharashtra demanding an amended Clinical Establishment Bill that can ensure that private clinical establishments are managed in public interest. We will not rest until the Bill in its current form is replaced with a new law that strengthens the regulation of the medical sector.

Thank you for standing with my family in Gaza.

Thanks to your kindness, we’ve raised approximately $520 - 52% of our $1,000 goal for this month. We still need around $480 to reach our target.

Your support helps us cover rent, food, clean drinking water, medicine, and Maria’s education. (Maria starts her studies on 26 September.)

If you’re able to help, please donate through the Chuffed link in my bio or scan the Chuffed QR code in this post. Supporters in India can donate via UPI using the second QR code.

If you can’t donate, sharing this post would mean so much to us. Thank you for every donation, every share, and every kind message. by @radxbone
