The Artist Healer.

I’ve been calling this part of myself in for two years now, readying myself for this new chapter. The name came to me many months ago while working through The Artist’s Way but I haven’t yet felt confident stepping into it publicly - until now. This phase of my artistry blends my artwork (and yours), with ritual, inquiry and deep exploration. This is art as mirror, art as messenger, art as portal. Art as the channel for birthing ourselves.

My Goodbye To The People I Used To Be workshops were a step in this direction. For my birthday, I took it a layer deeper by guiding two rituals: “Embrace The Dark” and “Enter The Light”.

The energies, discoveries and conversations were so much more than I could’ve imagined. I can’t wait to experience what this chapter brings next. I see I see I see and I will act on the vision.

The exhibit that brought The Archive out of the box and into your hands.
The exhibit that brought messages from the beyond.

Yes yes yes yes to this energy.
So much more to share.
So much gratitude to you all for making this weekend everything and more.

Leaves.

I was woken from a deep sleep in the still-dark, early hours of the morning with this poem asking to be written.

May we all feel and learn to give the sort of expansive love that invites the fullness of our human experience. by @rageflowers

Welcome to the thoughts that keep me up at night. As I drew these out, I laughed and cried about how false and fabricated they all are. To name them makes them knowable. To know them is to love them. My logical self gets that these aren’t the truth and yet, these fuckers still rear their heads (especially when things are going well). Pick a fave, and remind me I’m not alone in this whole “being a human” experience. by @rageflowers

ACCESS THE CHANNEL >>> Tues. Nov 17-Dec 8. 7-9pm. ❤️‍🔥

This is my first group experience over a series of 4 sessions, each taking us to a new creative depth. We’ll play with light and fire, focus time and devotion to meeting the monsters and gods within. As the nights get darker, the guidance of our souls will light the way...

This is an art experience for people ready to worship at the altar of their creativity. No previous art skills are necessary, simply a desire to dive deeply into the process with me.

Inspired by Renee’s Capricorn reading for Scorpio season on @embodiedastrology, I dove into the dirty depths to meet the monsters in me. Pick your fighter. by @rageflowers

As the leaves fall, I flow, paddling down the river of life and reminding myself that everything that is meant for me will find me. I am exactly where I need to be. by @rageflowers

What happens when we let our shadow speak? 🕳️🕳️🕳️ This is an excerpt from a much longer piece I wrote this summer in which I invited my shadow to tell me who she is, what she wants, how she wants to be respected, desired, feared and adored.

I read this piece as the opening to GOODBYE TO THE PEOPLE I USED TO BE at @detournowhere organized by @buildwithbloom. This session was all about Meeting Our Shadow At The Edge. I opened this workshop with this piece to challenge, titillate and activate the group before they dove in and met themselves. by @rageflowers

Clotho and Fate were featured at @georgeslaounopticien this summer as part of their 3rd annual Fierté exhibition. I loved seeing these two together and seeing them up in the space. It was an honour to have my work be a part of this 🩵✨

A huge thank you to @j_o_t_a____ and @jenlrmtl for your encouragement to apply and for including me in this! by @rageflowers

YES, I WILL.

This too is art. This too is self-expression. This too is a rage flower in bloom. Remember you are an artist and your life is your artform. Express life. by @rageflowers

We’ve been a lot of women in this lifetime. And we haven’t always had a say in when we had to become someone new.

The amount of change we navigate as women, especially as leaders, is hard to put into words. We’re building businesses, becoming mothers or choosing not to, caring for people, navigating loss, and outgrowing expectations we never agreed to. Sometimes we choose the change. Sometimes it arrives and we’re expected to figure it out while keeping everything else moving.

It reaches far beyond our job titles. The roles that seem so readily assigned to men—leader, founder, provider—rarely tell the whole story of what we’re carrying, or who we’ve had to become to carry it.

“Goodbye to the People I Used to Be,” our workshop with @rageflowers @erinbelievesinyou at Nowhere, gave us room to acknowledge that. To grieve versions of ourselves we miss, thank the ones who got us here, and admit when we’re ready to move on.

We spend so much time adjusting to change. It meant something to pause and ask each other what it had cost us.
