Happy New Year!!! 2025 let's goooπŸŽ‰ Here's a little phrase I composed for bass quartet this morning. The best to all of you in the coming year, may your dreams come true 🀍 Grace be your guide! #quartet #music #light #love by @raizin_bren
What a gift it has been to learn from and fall in love with all the people I met at Chautauqua this summer. πŸ€πŸ¦‹πŸ“œπŸͺ·πŸ“œπŸ¦‹πŸ€ Here are some highlights: ~ A world premiere of my bass quartet "Yggdrasil", performed for Wynton Marsalis, 2 recitals and some outreach events! ~ Falling out of a tree πŸ˜‚ ~ Played in a folk ensembles 🀩 ~ Star alignment ~ Performance of Stravinsky's "Soldiers tale" ~ Signed up for my first Instagram takeover, crazy stuff but I gotta start somewhere! ~ Visited Panama Rocks and saw bigfoot in one of the caves (@aidan_lobenstein) ~ Met some of the most amazing bassists ever! Not only did they memorize my music but they had hearts of gold to go with it. As life unfolds, so does my light. the darkest night can bring the brightest stars. In the symphony of life, there is a boy singing his heart out, he works with spirit to give and create something pure and true to the world. He follows the sacred path, and reaches new heights. #blossom #winning #quartz #soldier by @raizin_bren

Healing sounds for you lovely people πŸ¦‹πŸ•οΈπŸŒ» ~ One of my favorite things about a resonator guitar is how sensitive the harmonics can be! Tuning it into a chord I could have only dreamed of a few years ago. ~ Finding new ways to wrap your mind around your instrument can be quite a rewarding (and challenging) activity. One that leads to a deeper understanding of how to produce different sounds on your instrument! #guitar #composer #bassist #sunbath #alternatetuning #vibration #pianist #love #cosmos #learning by @raizin_bren
What a lovely feeling it is to come back home and relax into your own music. Especially after a long music festival. It almost feels as if the animals and weather have wrapped me in a blessedly warm embrace. I find it funny that the birds were quiet until I started playing guitar πŸ˜‚ I'm not one to complain about a free backup choir though! Plus, there's something so beautiful about inspiring the birds to sing, maybe I'll join them one day... #birds #love #guitar #ethereal #music #nature #spirit #toyartistry #resonatorguitar #universe by @raizin_bren
