A little repost because we’re coming up on three years since this shoot, and it still holds such a special place in my heart.

This was one of those projects that really helped shape my creative direction as a photographer. I was slowly transitioning from traditional portraits into fashion and editorial photography, and this shoot helped me realize just how much I loved playing with glowing skin, dramatic lighting, textures, and all the little details that make an image feel like art.

Almost three years later, I still see so much of this project reflected in the work I create today. It’s one of those shoots that I’ll always look back on and be proud of.

And of course, so much love for Sam and Stina. Every time we get together, we create something special. Literally the perfect team. Just three girls in a studio late at night creating art. ⭐️

Forever one of my favorite projects. 🤍

A quick, spontaneous @elfcosmetics spec with @lizzanddra after a full day of creating together.

We were experimenting with lighting when she goes, “can you pass me my lip gloss?” I handed it to her and immediately went, “wait, don’t move.”lol and these were the results.

Shot this a couple months ago, but couldn’t keep these to myself ⭐️

When the photographer finally gets in front of the camera🤍
Here’s to another year of life and creating 🥂

I’m not a huge fan of self portraits. While I do love editing the results, the process of being the photographer, model, and director is not fun at all haha. I used this shoot to push myself creatively, especially with color grading. I finished these at 2 a.m. Instead of waking up the next morning to have “fresh eyes” and fix the colorgrading, I kept them as is.

Same outfit. Same location. Same setup.

The brighter images were shot while sunlight was still spilling into my apartment. The moodier ones came after the sun went down. Add different color grades + slight changes in perspective and composition, and suddenly the same setup tells two completely different stories.

Worth it.
