🍛 Located ok Notre Dame Street West, Rasoi is an authentic must try Indian cuisine in Montreal 🍲 Started with a sharing appetizer before enjoying the butter chicken that was flavourful and the biryani was perfectly spiced and creamy fish or shrimp platters. The portions were generous, making it easy to share and try a little bit of everything 🍸 Their cocktails were the perfect pairing with the meal, refreshing, beautifully presented 🍰 And don’t skip dessert! It was the perfect sweet ending to the experience #indian #food #montreal #yummy #fyp by @rasoimontreal

Dining at Rasoï was truly an experience from start to finish. Every dish was presented like edible art, finished with beautiful edible flowers, vibrant colors, and flavors that were on another level. The quality was exceptional, the portions were incredibly generous, and the atmosphere blended modern elegance with authentic Indian flair. The Meen Moilee was a standout — a Kerala-style cod curry with beautifully balanced coconut milk and delicate spices. The cod filet was butter-soft, flavorful, and presented to perfection. The Tulsi Jhinga eloquently featured massive black tiger shrimp cooked with fresh basil (tulsi), garlic, and aromatic spices. The creamy, earthy tulsi sauce paired perfectly with the meaty shrimp, while the hint of mango chutney on the side elevated the dish even further. The Lamb Roganjosh was rich, comforting, and deeply flavorful — a traditional Kashmiri lamb curry layered with elite aromatic spices and a perfectly balanced gravy. Truly one of the most memorable dishes I’ve had in the city. The Malai Chicken Tikka was ultra-creamy and mildly spiced, with incredibly tender chicken marinated in cream, yogurt, and spices before being finished in a traditional clay oven, giving it an amazing depth of flavor. To finish, the sweet Gulab Jamun paired perfectly with a hot Chai — the kind of ending that would make any foodie smile. The drinks were equally stunning in presentation, and the staff were warm, personable, and genuinely welcoming throughout the experience. Chef Raji even came to the table for an introduction and kindly shared the inspirations and stories behind his dishes, which made the entire evening feel even more personal and memorable. I would absolutely recommend both the restaurant and the experience itself. Rasoï is the kind of place that leaves a lasting impression long after the meal is over. Merci, et à bientôt 🌹✨️ #montrealfood #reeloftheday #foodie #mtlblog #eating by @rasoimontreal
