On this day, as we celebrate Fathers, I want to take a moment to celebrate YOU. You are not the same man who bulldozed his way into my life years ago. The process hasn’t been easy, but the evolution into who you are choosing to become has been like watching God perform a miracle in front of my eyes. I am so thankful and blessed to witness the transformation you are working on! And while many others are aware of and celebrate your journey, today I’m celebrating your commitment to it - your inspiration behind it…being a better man so that you can be the Father and Grandfather you desire to be. The love you carry for your daughter and her babies motivates you every day to keep pushing, to not give up, to be better so you can do better, to show up in ways you couldn’t before. You are proof that a Fathers love can move mountains, can conquer what seems impossible, endures through difficult times, and humbles you to want to do better. I pray you continue to grow into the man, the Father, that you want to be!!! Celebrate yourself today, for how far you’ve come. Progression, not perfection.
