📍Eight Ounce Coffee You may know @eightouncecoffee as a supplier of coffee gear and beans, however, they now have a cafe! They serve up a variety of high quality espresso and tea based, as well as pourovers. The service is exceptional, as the baristas and all of the other staff made me feel incredibly welcome. They were all super conversational and did a beautiful job with making the drinks! What I got: ☀️Espresso sunrise: Who knew that san Pellegrino and espresso is such a great combination?!? This is one of their specialty summer drinks. The san pellegrino was tart, which balanced out the acidity of the espresso to create a unique experience. 🍵Matcha latte: As a matcha lover, this latte met my expectations. The matcha was well mixed with a good ratio of milk. ☕️Latte: Rich espresso smoothed out with milk. You can never go wrong with a latte! Thanks @eightouncecoffeeclub and @eightouncecoffee for having me! #hosted by @rayna.eats.yyc
What better way to brighten up your day than with coffee? ☕️⭐️ Bono Coffee recently celebrated their belated grand opening and gave us a behind the scenes look into their coffee! Trust me when I say, you NEED to go give them a visit! Bono Coffee is a family based business that has brought Ethiopian coffee culture to YYC . They traditionally roast their beans, which gives their coffee a very clean and smooth taste. The owners, Dawit and Danait have so much passion and love for their coffee and their business, and it really shows! I got a chance to sample a variety of coffees, as well as some amazing food! Their freshly baked croissants are genuinely some of the best I’ve ever had. I’m so grateful to have attended this event. A huge thank you to @bonocoffee.co and @socialcentricco for the invite! ❤️❤️ #yyc #calgary #coffee #yyccoffee #yycfood #calgaryfood by @rayna.eats.yyc
When it comes to food, more is definitely merrier! I’ve always loved @toscanayyc and @nextdooryyc so I was super excited to get to be a part of this marketing shoot!! I had a really awesome time filming TikTok’s and taking some photos. It was super different from what I normally do as a foodie (lol I normally try to stay behind the camera) We tried a huge variety of items, so I couldn’t tell you exactly what I tried, but I will say that I really enjoyed everything! My favorites: Tiramisu (not pictured😢): A classic. I have a huge sweet tooth, so naturally the dessert is at the top of my list! The tiramisu had just the perfect balance of flavours. Greko pizza: Pesto sauce, Fior di Latte, tomatoes, peppers, olives. I really enjoyed the flavour combos on this pizza. The crust was super flaky and added some extra flavour! Crispy Greek Feta Fries: These were so so good. These fries were bursting with spices. They were drizzled with olive oil and topped with feta. I couldn’t stop eating these, they were so addictive lol. I think no matter what you try, you’ll be satisfied! Both Greek Next Door and Toscana have huge menus, so there’ll be something for everyone. Thank you so much for the opportunity to join in on this!! If you don’t already, go follow @eatinggoodinyyc for some awsome reviews. 🍕🍝❤️ #yyc #yycfood #calgary #calgaryfood by @rayna.eats.yyc

Perfect meat bowl just opened up on McLeod and it’s a great spot to catch up with friends! Specializing in Malatang hot pot, this build your own bowl spot has 6 different spice levels to give you the spiciest hotpot you can imagine (at least in Calgary lol!!). For toppings, they have a variety of fish cakes, dumplings, noodles, seafood, meat, vegetables, and more. They also have popcorn chicken, bubble tea, and skewers that you can get alongside your meal. You get plum juice with your meal, but they have bubble tea too! We tried the pomelo and the peach tea, both of which were very refreshing. Overall, this was decently priced. Both bowls came out to be about $20-$25, but were good for 2-3 meals! Thanks @eternitymediaco and @perfectmeatbowl_south for having me!! #hosted by @rayna.eats.yyc
