Eight years in business. Wow. 💜 RBJ Community Consulting has been a journey filled with joy, growth, impact and a kind of love I still struggle to put into words. I’m deeply grateful for every partner, client, referral, mile traveled, Zoom call, workshop, strategic plan, “aha” moment, and outcome along the way. In a world where many small businesses don’t make it past the first year or two, I hold a real sense of humility and gratitude for the guidance and grace of God that has carried me through these eight years. This work has given me the gift of homeschooling my son, connecting with hundreds of incredible nonprofit professionals across the country, and serving clients in several different states. Every day, even in the midst of chaos and uncertainty, I’m reminded that there is so much goodness in this world and I get to lean into it through my work. Happy 8 years, RBJ. The best is still ahead. 💫 by @rbjcommunityconsulting

💡 RBJ Recommends: Tip #2 Make community check-ins a regular part of your nonprofit’s work, not just something you do when you're planning a new program or writing a grant. Ask questions. Create space for honest feedback. Listen without getting defensive. Most importantly, let people see how their input shapes your decisions. Remember, serving a community and listening to a community are two different things. The strongest organizations make room for both. 💜 Don’t just ask your community what they need. Ask what’s working, what’s missing, and what they wish you understood. 📩 Need help building community feedback into your nonprofit’s systems and strategies? Email me today. Let’s talk about it!
