reEDIT Future Lab is a space for experimentation and openness. Filled with all kinds of 3D-printed prototypes and parts, it is itself a playground where things can be tried, adjusted, and reworked at any moment. What we experiment with is traditional game design. That is why we place such importance on the exchange between game publishers and players. The purpose of this RE-CESSS, then, is to bring everyone together—to explore new board designs and ways of play while remaining true to the foundations of tradition.

We firmly believe that only through real playtesting and face-to-face dialogue can the spirit of traditional games be reawakened, and new possibilities brought to light. This is not merely a test, but a shared act of creation—one that lets designers hear the intuition of players, and invites players to take part in rethinking the rules. by @re_edit_lab

Material doesn’t have to end when a project does.

This batch started as exhibition furniture: solid stone pieces that would otherwise have gone to landfill once the show came down. Instead, they came to our workbench.

We cut each piece down and shaped it by hand, until the material was ready for a second life as 200 flower charms. Because they come from slabs that were never meant to be small, every charm carries its own grain, tone and marks.

Start with what already exists, respect the material, and transform it into something worth keeping. by @re_edit_lab

Every year, countless mooncakes go to waste after Mid-Autumn festival. And ten years ago, we turned this into an opportunity to teach our students about empathy and community. Through our annual Mooncake Donation Walk, we deliver leftover mooncakes and staple food to the homeless community while fostering understanding and kindness.

Little hands, big hearts. Together, we make a difference. #editacademy #empathyinaction by @re_edit_lab
