Books were slowly taking over, so it was time to create some separation ❤️ now I can be a little more unhinged without my mom or daughter seeing 👀 by @reading.resa

Current read on k+ after a few underwhelming fated mates shifter books. IDK why I try with those tropes anymore, it just doesn’t seem@to work out for me.

Anyway, didn’t realize this was a book 2 but you can jump in here if it calls to you. Lots of past trauma related to being gay (sigh) but it’s well handled so far and the angst and drama are DELICIOUS.

Very general Cinderella vibes, not a wholesale retelling. by @reading.resa

I need someone to hold my hand as I read this one. Literally shocked and heartbroken at the end of book 2 and so far this one is stressing me out so much!

But my god - what a fucking amazing world and characters Allie Therin has created here. Unforgettable. by @reading.resa

Popped in to Worldcon / LA Con V Saturday afternoon and caught a single panel - mostly to meet @_alexrowland - before spending a few hours in the Makerspace spinning yarn on a great wheel and drop spindle. Holly Black was also on the panel so I had her sign my TRB bag too 😁 lovely time, really wish I’d taken time off work to really attend! SO many great authors were there and the panels were plentiful and interesting! by @reading.resa

Back to school book haul! by @reading.resa

Reading some folkloric horror at Hurricane Harbor, as one does. Recommended by my eldest child, I really enjoyed this one. Super creepy and atmospheric this fairy tale-adjacent YA story reimagines Johnny Appleseed in a ways you’ll never forget. From Autumn Krause and @peachtreeteen by @reading.resa

Happy Yield audiobook day!!!! New cover plus 13k MORE STORY! Congrats @_alexrowland!

Already reading it with my ears 🤭 by @reading.resa

Grateful for my emotional support copy of @murdercutehq’s first novel that I keep in my car - unexpectedly spending some hours in the ER with a friend (not a dangerous or life threatening emergency). Also grateful for my bag of car snacks and yarn. #momlife #beprepared by @reading.resa

Loved loved loved this one!! Utterly enthralling characters and a really unique world. Joined the author’s Patreon like right away so I could get the scoop on the next in the series ❤️❤️ by @reading.resa

I’m doing my part! 🫡

Soooo excited this one from @levacrosen and especially any audiobook with this cast 👀 by @reading.resa

Needed something to alternate with Chalion - pretty sure I read the second in this series, I’ll need to check.

Enjoying this a lot, it’s hitting a lot of the same buttons as Necessary Evils by Onley James! by @reading.resa

I loved the Vorkosigan series, and Bujold’s fantasy works have been on my TBR forever. I’m trying to read at least one book from my tbr every month, but I’m a very moody ready and also a devoted library user, so sometimes the choice is not mine.

20% in so far and I’ve already laughed and cried and gasped. Phenomenal character work and dialogue by Bujold, no surprise there. Caz already has my whole heart, he’s so traumatized and DONE but also sees the world for what it is, and wants the best for the next generation… I’m sure that’s going to cause some problems in the future. #bujold #chalion #classicfantasy by @reading.resa
