Longggg time no see friends!

I have been hitting the books hard…but not the fun ones! Nursing school has become my whole world and I am very grateful for that! I do miss reading for fun, but I have been able to sneak in a little reading here and there. I recently finished the Mistborn series, read The Strength of the Few and I am hoping that I will get to finish Sunrise on the Reaping next week over break!

When I am not studying or reading, I love spending time growing my relationship w Jesus, attending many of my husband’s strongman competitions, trying new recipes and snuggling my sweet cats Harley & Venus.

Please please share some of the books you’ve been loving, I am so out of touch and need good ones to look forward to. Wishing you all a blessed day💕 by @readingwithjojo

Good morning sweet friends!

I have finally begun my journey into this beautiful book and I am loving it so far! Gonna cozy up this weekend and see how far in I can get.

Have you read The Will of the Many yet or is it on your TBR?

Wishing everyone a cozy reading weekend,
J💗

Good morning Booksta besties!

I have been having a difficult time finding the energy to share book content lately, however, I am absolutely devouring this series right now. This is my first time reading The Hunger Games since I was a kid and I am surprised to find that I am loving it even more than when it first came out. I just so happened to restart the series as Sunrise on the Reaping was released and I didn’t have any intention of reading it but I have seen so many good reviews, I might just be convinced!

If you’ve read Sunrise on the Reaping, what are your thoughts??

☁️ ʟɪꜰᴇ ɪɴ ᴛʜᴇ ꜱʟᴏᴡ ʟᴀɴᴇ 🌤️

My bookstagram has taken a major backseat over the last couple months. With moving in Jan and just life in general, I haven’t had the time or heart to read much lately. I have instead been focusing on taking one day at a time and living in the moment.

I am focusing on reading quality books in 2025 and I have been off to a fantastic start with the Hitchhikers Guide to the Galaxy mini series and a Hunger Games reread.

Please lmk what you have been up to lately or suggest some of your all time favorite books!

Lots of love,
🤎J by @readingwithjojo

Just a girl in her Hitchhiker’s Guide to the Galaxy era 🪐🐬🧖🏼🛸

Starting 2025 off strong with what will easily be a 5 star mini series for me. This is also easily the most uniquely entertaining read I’ve ever stumbled upon and I highly recommend this book to anyone in need of a quirky good time

🌟🌟🌟 What book are you hoping to get to in 2025?

Just sharing a little December photo dump. Some of my favorite Dec memories so far include seeing the Nutcracker ballet, evening fires and spending a cozy, snowy weekend in the mountains.

I hope that everyone is having a wonderful Christmas season and finds some time to relax in the midst of all the chaos 🥰

Good morning friends 🤍❤️

Spending the day getting stuff done today and one of those includes finishing The Nightingale! I have been slowly reading this book and I am really enjoying it. I know the ending will probably be devastating but I am anxious to see how this one ends.

On a side note… I cannot believe that 2024 is almost over. I feel like I still have so many things to finish before the end of the year😅

✶ ✶ ✶ What was your favorite memory from 2024?

Just a little appreciation post for the greatest sci-fi series. If you haven’t read Red Rising this is your sign! It is one of my favorite worlds ever created and Pierce Brown is an absolute mastermind, you will not be disappointed.

I hope everyone is having a wonderful week🤎

After a very chaotic and blessing filled week, the hubby and I are going to spend the day watching Harry Potter and putting up the Christmas decorations. I usually wait until after Thanksgiving but the holiday is so late this year 🥲

Book wise, I’m planning on finishing The Hero of Ages this weekend and I can’t wait to share my thoughts on my first Brandon Sanderson series so keep a look out for that review!

Wishing everyone a wonderful weekend 🥰
