Sorry to my introverts but being a parent should bring you out of your comfort zone and make you use your social skills more.

It did for me as everyone just gravitates towards me when I’m with my kid whether it’s other parents or just older people or a nanny or whoever. They wanna stop you to say hi lol #girldad #parenting #tips #dadlife #fatherhood by @realandrewwhite

Way more confident today doing my daughter’s hair! Shout out to my wife who gave me a little tutorial on how to do a slick back ponytail. Hardest part was detangling her hair! lol.

Drew’s fit was thrifted, shout out to @depop !!

We’re locking in and getting the fits and hair on point. 🫡 #girldad #hairstyles #toddlerdadlife #outfits #ootd by @realandrewwhite

Being a girl dad is crazy because one day you’re just getting yourself dressed… the next thing you know, you have to figure out how to style your daughter and do her hair and everyone expects you to be like a mini pro or something at it lol. #girldad #dadproblems #parentingishard by @realandrewwhite

Just catching a vibe with my baby girl at the park. No better way to spend a Sunday!

As a father, there are a lot of things we don’t say out loud. The pressure. The doubts. The fear of not doing enough.cBut we keep showing up. We keep learning. We keep trying. Because our kids don’t need perfect dads. They just need us. ❤️

What’s something you’ve carried silently as a dad? Feel free to share in the comments. 🙏🏾

The best part about fatherhood is the little things. ❤️

The random hugs. The “Daddy, I love you.” The compliments that hit different coming from your kids.
The little hands reaching for yours. The unconditional love.

Fatherhood can be exhausting, but moments like these remind you why it’s all worth it. Being a dad is truly one of the greatest gifts.

Every basketball player’s worst nightmare happened to me today. Especially after having Achilles surgery, seeing the ball stick like that on the backboard is soul crushing 🥲😫 how am I getting that down?

The little moments really are the big moments.

The bedtime stories. The messy breakfasts. The apologies. The patience we’re still learning. The five extra minutes on the floor.

Fatherhood isn’t about being perfect. It’s about being present.

Keep showing up. You kids will remember.

I’ve been meeting a lot of guys at the basketball court saying they haven’t picked up a ball in years. That was me after I tore my Achilles 3 years ago. Here’s why I’m still playing at 35 years old.

Being a parent doesn’t mean you have to be perfect. Mistakes happen. As long as you’re learning and getting better, that’s all that matters.

“Let me check my schedule, I’ll let you know ” sounds way less complex than:

My daughter, my family, lack of sleep, work, helping my parents and helping run an entire household is what’s keeping me occupied. But that’s a lot of parent’s reality: it’s not that you’re always busy but it’s super rare to be available to anyone without planning so far in advance. Parents need grace. Period.
