Reality show recaps + a lot of fun with your favorite resident fangirl on campus, @jessicashore24 🌟
Monday - Thursday at 9-10am EST!

POSTS STORIES REELS

Monday was my final episode of Reality Check and yesterday was my final interview. It’s very bittersweet, but it’s here.

Coming to Lasell, I was very shy and anxious. I fell in love with the idea of having a radio show as soon as my visiting day, and I jumped at the chance as soon as I could. Eight seasons and three e-board positions later, I’ve reached the end.

Reality Check gave me a space to be my true fangirl self for four hours a week. A space to share my thoughts without judgement. A space where I had a more confident persona compared to who I am normally. This show has allowed me to come into my own and gave me so many cool opportunities, and I’m so grateful!

This may be the end of Reality Check as a radio show, but it’s definitely not the end of Reality Check in general. It’s come this far and I can’t just let it go now. That being said…a podcast may be coming soon?! Stay tuned!

Until the next thing. Jessica, signing off 🥲 by @realitycheckwlas

Reality Check Chats: Episode 3 is out!!

I had the incredible opportunity to interview reality TV production assistant and Lasell alum Matt Berentsen for Reality Check Chats! After interviewing two on-camera personalities, this was the perfect way to round out my series.

Thank you Matt for sharing your insight on the reality TV industry! It was very interesting learning about the behind the scenes of reality TV production and how producers run their shows.

It’s been a week and I’m still floored by this 🤯

Reality Check Chats: Episode 2 is out NOW!!

Earlier this month, I had the amazing opportunity to talk with Food Network chef and restauranteur Saba Wahid Duffy. As a longtime fan of Food Network, it was so interesting to learn about how those shows are run. If you’re as curious as I was, this is a perfect episode for you!

Thank you so much, Saba, for coming on the show! I can’t wait to go to your restaurant after its opening at the end of April!

I can’t believe we’re in the final season! But if I’m gonna do anything, it’s go out with a bang.
A LOT has happened and I can’t wait to get into it with you all!

Secret’s finally out…EPISODE ONE OF REALITY CHECK CHATS IS OUT NOW ✨🥹🫶🌹

A few months ago, I had an idea to create a series for this show interviewing reality TV stars, and now I can say that it’s actually happening 🥲

A little more than a month ago, I had the amazing opportunity to interview Lasell alum and The Bachelor winner, Juliana Pasquarosa. She radiates so much joy and we had a great conversation! Thank you so much for being on the show! 💓

There’s so many I could’ve put, so I apologize if your favorite didn’t make the cut!

For me, I’d say all of them.

I can’t believe this season of Reality Check ends this week 🫠

We’re so back! (9am edition)

Reality Check returns on Wednesday at a new time, 9-10am EST! Can’t wait to be back talking about reality TV with all of you 🫶

This season will be a little different, but still a lot of fun. I won’t complain…a lot 🤪 by @realitycheckwlas

Some of these are exaggerations, but they’re mostly true for me. 😂

What would your recap look like?

I can’t believe we have 3 more shows left for the semester!!!
