Jackie Chan formed a special bond with an elephant named Lakshmi while shooting his 2005 film The Myth in Hampi, India. During the outdoor scenes near the Tungabhadra River, the action star spent time with the temple elephant between takes. Crew members noticed how calm and friendly Lakshmi became around him. In one memorable moment, Jackie was pushed into the water. The elephant instantly reached out with her trunk, trying to pull him out and comfort him. The reaction was completely unscripted, yet the director kept the take because it looked so natural and heartwarming. Jackie later said the elephant would even rest her head on his shoulder whenever he came on set. This sweet behind-the-scenes friendship has now gone viral, showing the legendary star’s soft side with animals. A beautiful reminder that some of the best movie moments happen off-camera. David Schwimmer once revealed he fought hard for more diversity on Friends. In a 2020 interview, the actor said he was well aware the show lacked people of colour and campaigned for years to have his character Ross date women of colour. He pushed for Asian-American actress Lauren Tom as Julie in season 2 and African-American actress Aisha Tyler as Charlie in later seasons. Gabrielle Union also appeared briefly. Schwimmer called it a very conscious push on his part. He even suggested there should be an all-Black or all-Asian version of Friends. The star felt the original lacked enough representation and said it simply felt wrong. A 24-year-old man from China, worried he would have no family to witness his wedding, decided to invite strangers on the internet to celebrate his big day. Not only did people show up for the free wedding banquet, but they also brought gifts and essentials needed for the wedding. Xiao Xiao Xu, an orphan from Zhaotong in Yunnan Province, invited the internet to his wedding because he feared his relatives may not attend the function. The young man posted a video saying that his father had passed away when he was three and his mother had later remarried, leaving him and his older brother to support each other. Online reports say he had saved money for the wedding, but he was unsure if any relatives would make it. So, he invited people online. Chefs turned up, and so did people who arranged a fleet of wedding cars. Others helped decorate his house, brought ingredients for the banquet, and distributed wedding sweets. The man’s sincerity, coupled with the kindness of strangers, made it the ‘wedding of the century’ in the small village. A dog in Cedar Rapids, Iowa is proof of the incredible bond that can develop between humans and their canines. Sissy, the miniature schnauzer, escaped her home and walked 20 blocks, right into the hospital where her owner was recovering from cancer surgery. Nancy's husband, Bucko, was letting Sissy and her brother Barney out to do their business when Sissy bolted. Bucko called Animal Control, fearing that the couple's little 10-year-old dog wouldn't make it home. Four hours later, he got a call from the hospital. No one knows how Sissy found the hospital, but she walked right into the lobby and was wandering the halls looking for Nancy. Hospital security brought Missy up to Nancy's room for a quick visit, which was good medicine for both of them. A sweet wedding video showing children with Down's syndrome being their teacher's ring bearers is melting hearts around the globe.  Mechanical engineer José Victor Flach moved his fiancée Cíntia Bonfante Pereira to tears during their wedding ceremony in Brazil, with the touching surprise.  The video captured the moment Cíntia, a speech therapist, turned around to see her students with Down's syndrome meet her down the aisle.   The couple then took a moment to say hello to each of the children, making them feel special on the occasion, as the emotional crowd looked on.   Cíntia said that her groom’s surprise was one of her favorite parts of the wedding. Cíntia is a staunch advocate for inclusion, and her choice of hiring a wedding photographer with Down syndrome proves that. João Vicente beautifully captured the day’s special moments. @fonocintiabonfante @flachjose If you have read this far, please consider following this page: @reallifeheroes.13  We share similar stories every day 🙌 by @reallifeheroes.13
Sir Patrick Stewart and his wife Sunny Ozell fostered a sweet pit bull named Ginger in March 2017. Ginger came from a dog-fighting ring. She was a breeding dog till the Los Angeles rescue group Wags and Walks and the ASPCA saved her. This was Stewart’s first dog in more than 50 years. The moment Ginger walked in, he fell in love. He posted adorable videos of them swimming, napping and cuddling. Fans everywhere melted. The couple wanted to adopt her forever, but UK laws ban pit bulls. So they could not take her home. They still gave her the best care, even arranging surgery for her injured legs. By November 2017, Ginger found her forever family. Stewart said the joy she brought stayed with him for life. The story turned him into a strong voice for pit bulls and against dog fighting. @sirpatstew If you have read this far, please consider following this page: @reallifeheroes.13  We share similar stories every day 🙌 by @reallifeheroes.13
A video is going viral on social media in which a kitten gets its head stuck in a piece of bamboo while having fun. Afterward, it runs around the neighborhood with its head stuck in the bamboo, hoping someone will catch it and help it. But what follows in the video will leave you emotional and, later, laughing. The video then shows the kitten wandering into a courtyard where a man catches him and helps remove his head from the bamboo. He first catches the cat and carefully cuts the wood in half using a chisel and hammer. Once the cat's head is freed, he runs off as if he's found heaven. In a heart-wrenching video that has touched thousands, a starving white dog in Ambala was seen desperately chewing on a wooden plank, forced by extreme hunger. The animal’s plight was captured by Vishal Bhardwaj, a relationship manager at a private bank in Ambala Cantt, Haryana. Bhardwaj, who runs the initiative ‘Dil Se Madad,' spends nearly 60% of his salary helping the needy and abandoned animals. Every day, he feeds 20-25 stray dogs, keeps dog food in his car, and stops whenever he spots a hungry animal. He also assists homeless people with food, clean clothes, baths, and medical expenses. “Hunger forced him to eat wood,” the caption on his reel read. Moments later, the dog was fed. Bhardwaj’s simple acts of kindness continue to remind people that you don’t need to be a millionaire to make a difference; just a big heart. A 3-year-old soccer player in Florida was removed from a youth league after complaints from other parents that he was outperforming older children, according to his family. Video shared by the family shows the child, Nevada, playing soccer against 5-year-olds. His parents described him as a soccer phenom and said he has been competing against children older than him. The family said other parents complained to league officials that Nevada was too skilled and did not pass the ball enough. According to the family, league officials then asked Nevada to leave the league. The dispute escalated, eventually leading a league official to call police. Police responded and escorted the family away from the field. The league later offered Nevada a spot on a different team, but his family said they plan to decline the offer. The disagreement has drawn attention because of Nevada's age and ability, with the family maintaining that complaints stemmed from his strong performance against older players. Meet Zorba, India’s first anti-poaching dog and a true four-legged hero of Kaziranga. This brave Belgian Malinois joined Aaranyak’s K9 squad in 2011 and spent nearly eight years tracking rhino poachers in Assam’s forests. With his sharp nose, Zorba helped forest teams nab over 60 poachers. He once followed a blood trail for 1.5 km and even pulled a camera trap from a pond that caught the criminals on video. He served mostly in Kaziranga, protecting the one-horned rhinos, and also worked in other parks. After retiring in 2019, Zorba was honored with a traditional Assamese gamosa. He passed away in 2022 at the age of 12. If you have read this far, please consider following this page: @reallifeheroes.13  We share similar stories every day 🙌 by @reallifeheroes.13
