The importance of treating the cause & not the symptom 🤍

Did you catch my video breaking down this client case study on Monday? I discuss why one of the most crucial parts of injecting any area of the face is the technique, strategy & placement.

We treated only —— Full face Botox, Jawline, temples, lips, regenerative eyes, microneedling with PDGF for skin texture and health.

We did not directly treat nasolabial folds!

Lifted not puffy, the outcome speaks for itself!

I would love to work with you 1:1! If you’re ready to start your aesthetic journey, comment “BALANCE” and I’ll reach out to you 🤍

Here we focused on facial balancing to improve symmetry on my beautiful client. Notice symmetry improvement in the jawline, chin, and lips, thereby balancing her overall appearance and enhancing her natural beauty.

I will always be 100% transparent about every single treatment I receive, offer or recommend - and CoolPeel is no exception.

CoolPeel treats so many different things, including hyperpigmentation, acne scarring, signs of aging & more. Its ability to address so much within a single modality is truly so impressive!

Nothing good ever comes easy - but even still, the “downtime” after CoolPeel is extremely minimal and a breeze to cover up with makeup after even 3 days.

The resulting glow you see at the end makes it 100% worth it, every single time.

The wellness stack i’ve been LOVING recently!

For context, I’m:
- A nurse practitioner, business owner & injector
- A fitness/gym girl
- Wellness-focused
- In my mid-30s

This is what works for me based on my individual needs. Supplements and medical therapies should be individualized based on your health history, medications, goals and labs when appropriate.
As a Nurse Practitioner, I always recommend discussing what’s appropriate for you with your healthcare provider.

Peptide use requires medical clearance and oversight by a prescribing provider. Schedule a consultation with me to discuss whether peptide therapy may be appropriate for you. 🤍

Would we treat a client the same way?

I brought in @aesteemaesthetics injector (also MY injector) @injectedby.mal to assess how we’d each treat these fake “clients” - everything from injectables to aesthetics.

Every incredibly talented Aesteem injector leads with strategy & technique- so I can’t say I’m too surprised by the outcome of this video 🤍

So.. how’d we do? 💭

As a Nurse Practitioner, I evaluate each patient individually based on medical history, treatment goals, current medications, and clinical appropriateness. Prescription treatments require medical evaluation. .

As someone who’s basically chronically healing from an aesthetic treatment, these are some of my favorite post treatment compounds depending on the patient’s history and goals. ✨

Peptide use requires medical clearance and oversight by a prescribing provider. Schedule a consultation with me to discuss whether peptide therapy may be appropriate for you. 🤍

If you want to know more about the peptide edits I have at @aesteemaesthetics , comment WELLNESS & schedule your complimentary Wellness Consultxx

My HONEST review of Trap Tox as a gym girl:

I wanted to share this because I rarely saw reviews from women who lift as heavy as I do.

I’m talking 200–300+ lb lower-body lifts and 60–80 lb upper body work. My traps aren’t just aesthetic. I rely on them to perform.

Because of that, I was VERY conservative with my dose, choosing roughly half of what I’d typically consider for someone prioritizing maximum trap slimming.

Did it work aesthetically? Yes. My neck and shoulder area looked noticeably softer and more elongated without completely wiping out my traps.

But did I notice a difference in the gym? Absolutely.

I could still lift, but certain movements felt different, especially those requiring trap stabilization. Even my grip and how I carried certain loads felt different.

Interestingly, it made me more aware of how often I unnecessarily recruited my traps instead of using the intended muscle. I became more conscious of my mechanics and shoulder positioning.

It took about 2–3 weeks to adjust to how lifting felt post-treatment, even at a low dose.

If you regularly do heavy RDLs, deadlifts, carries, rows, or overhead work, remember that your traps are FUNCTIONAL muscles. Weakening them significantly can affect how movements feel and how you compensate.

For me, the goal was never to eliminate my traps. I still want the muscle activity that supports my training and posture.

Would I do Trap Tox again? Maybe but also maybe not. My sweet spot is exactly what I did: enough to soften their appearance without chasing complete muscle relaxation.
Definitely won’t be doing it any time soon.
My biggest takeaway?

Dose should match lifestyle.

The dose that works for someone prioritizing maximum slimming may not make sense for someone regularly lifting heavy.

Sometimes the goal isn’t to eliminate the muscle. It’s just to turn the volume down.
