💙 Men's Mental Health Awareness Month

As a mum to an adult son and having a former veteran as a partner in my life, men's mental health is something close to my heart.

We often expect men to be strong, to carry on and keep their worries to themselves. But behind that strength, there can be struggles we don't always see.

November is also a time of Remembrance, honouring the courage and sacrifices of those who have served. As a supporter of @ The Royal Marines Charity, I'm reminded of the importance of supporting the mental wellbeing of our serving personnel, veterans and their families.

Being strong doesn't mean having to face everything alone.

To the men in our lives, it's okay to talk, to feel and to ask for support. Sometimes, simply having someone listen can make all the difference.

Rest. Recalibrate. Realign.

Lest We Forget. ❤️

Anxiety can affect people in so many different ways, often behind the smiles and confidence we see on the outside.

I'm looking forward to deepening my understanding and developing additional skills to support clients with greater awareness, compassion and confidence.

Because supporting others starts with a commitment to keep learning ourselves.

Rest. Recalibrate. Realign.

World Mental Health Day

Sometimes, the greatest pressure comes from comparing ourselves to others. We forget that everyone has their own journey and struggles we may never see.

Your worth is not measured by someone else's progress. Be kind to yourself, recognise how far you've come and remember that showing yourself compassion matters too.

Rest. Recalibrate. Realign.

You don't have to carry everything alone. Sometimes, a conversation with someone you trust can make all the difference.

It’s about allowing yourself to be yourself, without constantly wondering whether you’re saying the right thing, doing the right thing or fitting somebody else’s idea of who you should be.

And I’ve noticed something.

When people are genuinely comfortable being themselves, you feel it. There’s an ease about them that draws you in.

That’s the kind of authenticity I value in life, and it’s something I want to bring into my coaching too.

No judgement. No pretending. No expectation to have everything sorted.

Just a real conversation, starting from where you are.
