⁨ ⁨ ⁨ ⁨ يسعدنا أن نشارك خطوة جديدة ضمن حملة التأثير والتوعية الخاصة بفيلم الطبقة السابعة، الذي يتناول تجربة اكتئاب ما بعد الولادة والأثر النفسي العميق الذي قد يرافق الأم خلال هذه المرحلة.

خلال الفترة الماضية، نجح فريق الحملة في تواصل مع منصات ومؤسسات إعلامية ساهمت في نشر قصتنا وإيصال رسالتنا إلى جمهور أوسع. نشكر كل الجهات والشركاء الذين منحونا ثقتهم وساعدوا في فتح مساحات للحوار حول تجربة لا تزال تُحاط بالكثير من الصمت.

نأمل أن تساهم هذه الحملة في زيادة الوعي باكتئاب ما بعد الولادة، وأن تفتح المجال لمزيد من الاستماع إلى قصص الأمهات وتجاربهن الإنسانية.

We are happy to share an important milestone in the impact and awareness campaign for The Seventh Layer, a film exploring postpartum depression and the emotional realities many mothers experience during and after childbirth.

Over the past months, our campaign team has successfully reached a number of media, cultural, and advocacy platforms that helped amplify the film’s message and bring this conversation to wider audiences. We are deeply grateful for their trust and support.

We hope this campaign continues to create space for honest conversations around postpartum depression, helping more mothers feel seen, heard, and understood.

في ستينيات القرن الماضي، نُقل الطفل علي جلال من إسنا، التابعة لمحافظة الأقصر حاليًا، ليقيم مع عمه في القاهرة. كان يقوم بالرحلة الطويلة ليزور الأهل في البلد قدر الإمكان، ولكن بعد الزواج والاستقرار في القاهرة، أصبح تبادل شرائط الكاسيت وسيلة علي الأساسية في مواصلة معايشة أحبابه عن بُعد والمشاركة في مناسباتهم والاندماج بثقافة المنطقة بموسيقاها وأغانيها. عبر السنين، كوّن مكتبة ضخمة وثرية من شرائط الكاسيت المنقسمة بين تسجيلات شخصية وإنتاجات تجارية محلية، يسمعها علي باستمرار ويحبّب أطفاله وأحفاده فيها.

As a child in the 1960s, Ali Galal was sent from Upper Egypt to live with his uncle in Cairo. He made the long journey to visit his family when possible, but after marrying and settling in Cairo, the exchange of cassette tape recordings became his lifeline to distant loved ones and celebratory occasions, as well as the unique musical traditions of his home region. Over the years he developed a vast cassette tape library of personal recordings and local productions. Ali says that he wishes people wouldn’t “disrobe their traditional gowns,” adding, “I wish we’d keep the Aswan spirit a strong one, and dance, sing and celebrate to our own tunes and rhythms.” by @asmaa_ga3frie
