I’m addicted to this beautiful song by @ethanfrenchmusic 🧡…and y’all will be too!
I’m starting new series called “Great Songs That Needed Recorder” 🦊 so stay tuned for more! 🔥

What songs do you think are missing the recorder? 😏👀…and “None” is not acceptable :D

🚨Also, it is not A=440Hz but a little lower (as well as the original is, on purpose)…but all thanks to my out of tune piano :) and adjustable recorder…sounds kinda nice and warm hm?

🧡 My favorite thing is to play this solo over and over again and trying to blend with the beautiful and soulful flute sound of @iamelena in the epic tune Sunrise in Beijing by @chiefadjuahofficial 🌞 album Stretch Music

Forever inspiring humans and musicians 🙌🏼

*wanted to upload the whole solo transcription on my YT channel, but it’s been blocked 🥲 so might upload here again / or to my stories 🦊

Thank y’all for your support and beautiful, deep, funny and also recorder hating comments :D I love them all! 🧡 and I’m glad my videos are inspiring some of you to pick up this instrument after years :)

Stay tuned, cuz more jazzz is coming! 🦊

P.S.: Yes the background music is me playing a great tune by Oscar Peterson called Allegro (from The Bach Suite) aka Salute To Bach! 🎹

Might release it soon… 👀☄️

The time has come 🔥🦨 I finally decided to make one of my biggest trancription dreams come true — ever since my teenage years, when I was completely obsessed with this tune (Some Skunk Funk by The Brecker Brothers) 🧡🪐 And then one day, I saw a recorder player on YouTube absolutely shredding Michael’s legendary tenor solo! 🚨

It’s crazy hard I’m not gonna lie 😅😮‍💨 so I’m just sharing the process since it might take me a while to finish at least a chorus…

Anyway, have you tried transcribing this one? 👀

Lmk and stay tuned! 🦊

Also, let me know in the comments which is your favorite Monk’s tune:)
I’ve always loved playing his Straight No Chaser 🔥

1, 2 or 3 ?👇🏻
Let me know in the comments which pic is your favorite and help me decide what to transcribe / record for you next! …I have some ideas…😎

1 - might be smt more traditional, swingy
2 - might be my own impro over standard changes
3 - might be smt crazy, funky, modern
