We thought it was about time we introduced ourselves. Meet Sami & Kylea, the two women behind Red Dirt Social. What started as a relatively new friendship, a shared love of hosting and a few conversations over wine has grown into something we’re pretty excited about. We both love country life, good company and creating experiences worth getting dressed up and leaving the house for. And while our backgrounds are quite different, it turns out we have a lot in common. Including two little girls named Maggie, a soft spot for a good glass of vino and a tendency to dream up big ideas. Red Dirt Social is our way of bringing a little more culture, connection and good times to the country. We’re so glad you’re here. Sami & Kylea x by @reddirt.social

Meet Charli Jade Originally from North Queensland, Charli is an independent country-folk singer-songwriter who’s been travelling Australia full-time in her van. Her songs come from the people, places and stories she’s collected on the road, from the WA coast all the way to the east. Now she’s bringing her stripped-back acoustic set to a paddock in the South Burnett, which feels like a pretty good fit. @charlijade_music follows local talent Ellie Fiedler, with Todd Kem and Ella Jones later in the evening. Bring the picnic rug and settle in. Only 50 tickets left, so if you’ve been meaning to book, now’s the time. 📍 Hopevale Farm, South Burnett

A little look back at a pretty special evening. ✨ Connected by Country was everything we hoped it would be and more. An evening full of incredible rural women, meaningful conversations, new connections and a whole lot of community spirit. We’re still feeling incredibly grateful to everyone who came along, shared their stories, supported the event and helped bring it all together. Here are a few of our favourite moments from the evening - a little reminder of just how special it is when people come together in the country. To everyone who was part of it, thank you. This is exactly why we started Red Dirt Social - to create more opportunities for connection, culture and community right here in our own backyard. A huge thank you to our event partners @rrrwomenqueensland and @groundandgrow_aus for making this the best possible event 🥹 we can’t wait until next year! Here’s to more nights like this. 🤎 by @reddirt.social

Good things happen when communities come together. 🤎 Connected by Country is about celebrating the women who make our rural communities what they are, and creating opportunities for connection, conversation and shared experiences right here in the South Burnett. None of this would be possible without the generous support of three organisations who have come on board to help bring this event to life. A heartfelt thank you to @powerlinkqld, @stanwellcorp and @south_burnett_regional_council for getting behind Connected by Country and helping us create something special for the women of our region. We’re so grateful for your support and your investment in bringing our community together. Final tickets are on sale now via the link in our bio! by @reddirt.social
