Closed out my first ever short play last Wednesday! I was accepted into the @playtimeiotheater program over at iO. I wrote and directed an original comedic play, which was incredibly fun!

I was so nervous to take on a big project like this alone, but I was able to work with some real professionals, who made the process so lovely! Thanks to @tomm.stl and @theweswhitaker and of course Emily who isn't on Instagram.

Thanks also to all the lovely friends that came and saw it; your support and love and kindness made this so joyful for me! by @regrettablyjake

We got another. by @regrettablyjake

Don't tell Rob but I spent $70 on Pokeball Crocs and they glow in the dark by @regrettablyjake

Not to be too sincere on main, but last night some amazing actors staged a play that I wrote and directed. It was my first time being The Guy Running a Play, and I couldn't be more happy with how it turned out! It was so lovely to hear people laughing at my jokes, and it was incredible to work with actors who added SO MUCH to the material. I feel so lucky and thankful and jazzed!

Thanks to @playtimeiotheater for the opportunity to put this up! Thank you to @theweswhitaker , @tomm.stl , and Emily Jacobs for making this show sooooo fun!

And thanks to all the friends that came out to see opening night - ily by @regrettablyjake

Hey friends!

You may not know this, but I wrote and directed a short play for @playtimeiotheater , which is going up TOMORROW and running for 4 weeks. It's 7:30 on Wednesdays at iO in the Weed Theater!

Too Little, Too Collate explores the relationship between a man and his office's HP LaserJet. Connecting to a printer has always been hard... But never quite like this!

It's going to be an absolute blast, and I'd love everyone who can to come see all the hard work this cast has put into this show! And also, I want you all to see the cool printer prop I made. by @regrettablyjake

Come see Too Little, Too Collate at the iO Wednesdays at the iO! It's part of a program called @playtimeiotheater , which selects a few new writers in Chicago to write, produce, and stage a comedic short play!

This one will be starring @theweswhitaker , @tomm.stl , @regrettablyjake (as a printer), and Emily Jacobs! by @regrettablyjake

Sorry I have so much going on right now, I'm sure you've all been struggling to keep up. So I made a little graphic!

This weekend I'm in Fleeced (@get.fleeced ) at Second City at 8:30pm!

You can also see me in the Game Show weekend at Corn (@cornproductions ) - Are You Smarter Than a Drunk Actor on Friday and Match Game on Saturday! These are both gonna be great, and everyone in the audience has a chance to be chosen to compete!!

Come see me :) by @regrettablyjake

Another year, another Gen Con!

Thanks to everyone who made it a memorable one! by @regrettablyjake
