Dr. Vincent is selective about who he trusts - for his patients AND his own body.

He came to Rehabletics NJ for elbow pain.

You ever have an athlete ask to stay longer?

Not because they’re hurt…

but because they finally feel like themselves again?

That’s the goal.

Not “3 sets of 12” on a tired glute bridge.

Not hitting milestones just to clear a box.

Not babysitting a body they’re scared to use.
Real rehab feels like forward motion.
It looks like:

⚡ Training sessions with intent

⚡ Questions that make them think

⚡ Movement that demands control

⚡ Conversations that build trust

You want to keep athletes engaged?
Stop making rehab feel like a punishment.
The gym is already their second home.

Rehab should feel like a key to getting the door back open.

December may matter more.

Most insurance plans reset your deductible on January 1. What you already paid toward it this year starts over in the new plan year.

So care that starts in December and care that starts in January can look very different on your out-of-network claims.

Ask your insurer now: Is my deductible met? Do I have out-of-network PT benefits? Do I need a referral? We provide superbills.

𝗬𝗼𝘂𝗿 𝘀𝗲𝗮𝘀𝗼𝗻 𝗲𝗻𝗱𝗲𝗱. 𝗡𝗼𝘄 𝗯𝘂𝗶𝗹𝗱.

Spring won't wait for you.

Fall season is done, and spring practice is months away. Most athletes waste this gap by resting too long or training without a plan.

Use six weeks: two of real deload, two of general strength, two of sport reintroduction. Fix weak hips, ankles, or shoulders while nobody needs results.

At Rehabletics, a Doctor of Physical Therapy tests you first, finds the weak link, then builds the block. Clear plan, not random.

When does your athlete need a physical therapist, and when can it wait?

Green, probably OK to wait: soreness that fades in a day or two, stiffness that loosens up with movement, no swelling or limping.

Yellow, get it checked soon: pain lasting more than a week, pain that changes how they move, pain that comes back every time they play. Book a visit that week.

Red, see someone now: swelling, a pop at the moment of injury, can't put weight on it, pain that wakes them up at night.

Most of what we see sits in yellow. That's the window where a quick screen saves a season. by @rehableticsnj

Shut down for two weeks. Back to throwing. Arm hurts again.

Rest takes away the throwing that hurt.
It does nothing about why throwing hurt.

So the arm goes back two weeks weaker.
Same pitch count. Same mechanics. Same problem waiting.

What actually needs to change:
Find out why it hurt. Workload, mechanics, shoulder and hip mobility, strength.
Build the arm back with a real throwing progression, not a quick "you're good."
Track pitches across every team they throw for.

And one more thing.
Kids hide arm pain to keep their spot.

Would your kid tell you if it started hurting again? by @rehableticsnj

The tendon gets a vote.

Jumper's knee (patellar tendinopathy) is a load problem, not an inflammation problem. The pain eases once you warm up, then gets worse after.

Stretching does little because the tendon needs strength, not length. Isometric holds (pushing without moving the joint) can reduce pain in-season.

At Rehabletics, we build tendon plans around real basketball demands, so players finish tryouts strong and stay on the court all season.

Third hamstring pull. Same rehab as the first one.

Three weeks of rest makes a hamstring calm.
It doesn't make it strong at full stride.

Calm is not the same as ready.

A hamstring that keeps going needs more than time:
Strength tested at length, side to side, not just "it doesn't hurt."
Speed built back in steps, all the way to true top speed.
Repeated sprints, because games ask for speed on tired legs.

Every pull that gets treated like the first one makes the next one more likely.

How many times has yours been treated like the first one? by @rehableticsnj
