Dear Smiley,
I been going back and forth on typing this because I ain’t ever think I’d be writing something like this so soon about you. You knew what it was with us, my partner in crime, my big brother, my teacher, MY FAVORITE DJ, and poet! You was the muscle, the goat in human form, I looked up to you and the way you moved through life. Our last conversation we had we was laughing and smiling, so you know moving forward I promise that’s all ima do. Every time I get fly I’m gone hear you saying “RELLY RELL GIVE EM HELL!” Damn you hurt the whole world, not just the city. Watching ma dukes shut that casket on you hurt in so many ways. I pray you at peace and you can smile up there while you looking down on us. I love you big bra and I’ll forever party for you. Every time I take a shot I know you’ll be right there with me. Until we meet again, I’ll always let em know “Darlene ain’t raise no h*e!!”
