Picture this. You’re driving around looking for a place to eat. One restaurant has an empty parking lot and you can walk right in. The one down the street has a packed lot and a line out the door.
Which one are you picking?
We all know the answer. The full parking lot tells you everything. People keep coming back because the food is that good, and they’re happy to wait for it.
Our industry is no different.
Every week someone tells me, “Another company said they can install me in 3 days.” And I get it. When you’re excited about a new kitchen, you want it now. But think about what that empty schedule might be telling you.
Our calendar stays full for one reason: our customers come back. They do their kitchen with us, then their bathrooms. Then they send their neighbors, their parents, their friends. That’s the full parking lot.
We’ll never win a race to see who can install the fastest, and we’re not trying to. Every slab gets templated, cut, inspected and installed like it’s going in my own home. That takes a little time, and it’s worth it.
So if you’re planning a kitchen or bath project, get on the list early. The good spots are worth the wait. 🪨

Cambria just dropped 4 new colors — and I’m obsessed.
Quintessa. St. Loxley. Merivale. Wyncrest.
Warm. Textured. Soft movement in every slab.

Which one’s your favorite?

Can’t get enough of this kitchen!

@ablazedesigngroup did such an amazing job this year with the @lfshowhouse

I was honored to play a small part and help them show this off Friday night at the preview party. Tickets are still available if you want to tour the house but I hear they’re almost all out.
