YAAAYYYYY!!! My first ever piece to be shown in a public place; its one of my proudest pieces and she looks so good framed! I needed to create this drawing (no it's not a photo) to be able to move forward and bring to life the rest of my visions and ideas that reside in my veins, so I thought it only appropriate. The girl I was three years ago has come so far to the person I am now, yet I'm still funny baby 😛 It's at the black cow cafe at Croton so please come see if you're in the area!! Love to all and stay safe out there <3 by @renee__morel

Mother's Despair: A piece on deforestation. I was inspired by native territories and national parks being cut and paved through and the idea of the trees soul staying there in it's place came to my brain so vividly. The different colors represents the personality of the tree soul as well as their times of death through seasons. One of my favorite pieces so far 💚 by @renee__morel

#2: A series I’m now interested in is these fabric scraps of swirls and color gradients. Id like to continue these with the theme usually being people I love and how i view them on my canvas. This one I made as a birthday gift and had the person choose the color palette while I executed the placement. I have a lot of fun with these so if anyone is interested in their own dm for more information!! by @renee__morel

Green house assignment I did for my painting class. Ngl I'm quiet a fan, I wanna add to it to perfect the succulent lining but overall I love how I locked in on the cactus to the left 😛 by @renee__morel

"Never Stop" I made this in a flurry of doing assignments for a class and I wanted to see how well I could draw a heart. I honestly just thought this piece was beautiful, the colors on top of one another just capture my eye and it's so disgusting being a raw heart and all but in a symbolic sense the heart is care and love, it's the beauty of this world we share. I hope this serves as a reminder to take a minute and remember to love. Love life, love yourself, love others as long as your heart beats. by @renee__morel

I had to do a collage of magazine's in painting this semester and I thought id show the people. I did way too many cutouts but I think I did enough detail where it works well :) by @renee__morel

This is a scrape of canvas fabric I did a while ago and finally figured out how to post to show the whole thing. It's 2.5 x 4 and I started it just doing swirls I saw in the ruffles, and then it turned into a project for class on how I viewed purple Basil. Honestly one of my favorite pieces, painted hairs and all :) I hope you enjoy it just like I do! by @renee__morel

Tumeric tincture paint!! I made a watercolor in class and we used the left overs to run it on a paper and finger paint. I thought id show the world cause I enjoyed it so much, I'm gonna make so much paint 🧎‍♀️😛 by @renee__morel

She is Universal I think was the name. I made a sketch of a plant growing yet still being connected and it emerged into this for my portfolio. I feel like I could carry my image better if it was painted but I wanted to try out oil pastel. 💚 by @renee__morel

This one I made to represent how the way you raise your child affects who they become in the end. The good, the bad, the ugly and beautiful by @renee__morel

Till Death Do You Part- this piece was inspired by Johnny Depps gallery on death and partying and how they play into his life. I wanted to take a spin on it and put myself in the universe of dancing skeletons, but not partying no. By watching, the eye sparkles with thousands of glitter hexagons to represent the vast memories the eye sees. The title ties into the relationship you have with your soul and body. They are stuck together and only when you die do you seperate and leave yourself. In both ways. :) highly recommend his Gallery if you can. It was moving and so cool by @renee__morel

The Fetus- I made this piece back in high school and it was happening during Roe v Wade. In commemoration to those with utertus' what had happened from it since then, I bring you the fetus. This is an alien fetus, with its eye focused on the window of what is not their placenta. A big blue wall of fire that surrounds them, to represent the burning pain/hate the mother might feel for them because of how it was produced. Thus the fetus being alien like, it's to represent the disconnect between forced pregnancies and that some parents don't even see them as their child because of the non existent choice they have. by @renee__morel
