POSTS STORIES REELS

A few days late posting this, but here’s a little update from my third open water swim 🌊

This was my longest distance yet which still surprises me.

The biggest lesson? Finding a rhythm. As my coach @salimswimlab keeps reminding me, everything starts to feel easier once you settle into it.

We even finished with a sprint which completely wiped me out, but showed me what’s possible when the technique starts to come together.

There’s still plenty to learn, but every session leaves me a little stronger and a little more confident.

One stroke at a time 💙 by @reneepopplewell

It’s been a whole week and I still can’t believe I ran 42.2km.
Honestly, all I’ve thought about this week is the marathon—it really was the experience of a lifetime.

We worked hard for months, and last Sunday was the party. Our time to show up, celebrate the journey, and bring the energy. From the runners giving it their all to the supporters lining the streets—what a vibe. What a day. We really did that.

Big thanks to @emancipatedruncrew for the opportunity to be out there and for everything you do to encourage Black and Brown people to run. So proud to be part of this community.

I also got to run for @sicklecelluk, a cause close to my heart. Grateful to have passed my £500 fundraising goal (and yes, donations are still open—link in bio!).

Shout out to @londonmarathon for a brilliantly organised event—and congrats on breaking the Guinness World Record with 56,640 finishers!

It’s been a week and I’m still processing what we did. Every mile, every challenge, every moment—it all led to this. The race might be over, but the lessons will stay with me forever. Can’t believe I’m a marathoner ❤️

Everyone gets to see the end result ❤️

Very few get to see the work you put in behind the scenes 😓

Keep working anyway ➡️

It doesn’t matter the goal, success comes when you apply DISCIPLINE, STRUCTURE and CONSISTENCY to your process ✅

Your goals are closer than you think. Trust me, I’ve set some big goals in my life and smashed them every time 🚀

If you need an ACCOUNTABILITY COACH to keep you focused on your goals, get in touch to find out how we can work together 🫱🏽‍🫲🏿

And to think this was only half the workout 🥵

One of my favourite things to do when in TCI is attend @outdoor_fitness_tci workout sessions.

This year the flu and the rain tried to cramp my style but I’ve still managed to get a few in.

Always tough but always fun 💪🏽❤️

Thanks for these (tough) classes Terri……see you tomorrow x by @reneepopplewell

Next year, we do money different! 👀❤️

The beliefs we’ve carried about money for years.

The financial decisions we keep putting off.

We’re talking about all of it at The Money Mindset Reset on 9 January.

And not just talking. We’re getting practical about what needs to change and how we move forward.

So, I’ve made an executive decision! 😂

Yes, we’re already selling tickets. Yes, I’ve already been promoting the event. And yes, I’ve decided to change the name anyway! 🤣

The Financial Reset is now The Money Mindset Reset! 🎉

Same event. Same mission. Becoming Financially Unshakeable. ❤️

I’ll explain the thinking behind the change tomorrow, but for now, what do we think of the new name? 👀 by @reneepopplewell

For a long time, I looked like I was doing much better financially than I actually was.

Beautiful clothes, fabulous shoes (147 pairs at one point! 😂), a good education and opportunities that I was incredibly fortunate to have.

But behind all of that was a very different financial reality.

And when things eventually caught up with me, the hardest part wasn’t even the debt. It was the shame of feeling that I should have been further ahead in life.

Looking back, I have so much compassion for that younger version of myself.

She made mistakes, yes. But she was also trying to find her way, just like so many of us are.

One of the biggest lessons I’ve learned, both personally and through my work in finance, is that our relationship with money goes far beyond numbers.

It’s shaped by what we believe about success, how we see ourselves, the expectations we carry and the decisions we make along the way.

Sometimes the most important financial reset begins with how we think about money.

I’ve shared my story and five lessons that have stayed with me ever since.

If you’ve ever felt like you should be further ahead by now, I hope this reminds you that your current circumstances don’t define your worth or your possibilities.

❤️ I’d love to know: What’s one belief about money you’ve had to unlearn, or one you’re currently trying to change?
