Plot twist: our renovation plans just got a new deadline. 😂🏡💙 Baby boy #2 coming February 2027!

AND a big update about that coming via stories TOMORROW 🥳 by @renovatingtheranch

You guys the firepit setup is officially complete 😍🔥

After adding our Solo Stove, the team at @solostove generously sent us their Surround and Surface Cover, and we couldn’t be more excited for how they completed this space! The weather hasn’t cooperated enough for us to break it in yet ⛈️, but our friends and family swear by their Solo stoves so we know we’re going to be obsessed.

We can’t wait for relaxing evenings with good company, and making this the spot everyone gathers for memories! Stay tuned for some stories about this fun set up once the weather cooperates! 🥳

Progress is happening over here. 👏

We’ve been absolutely crushing outdoor projects lately, and somehow I’m even finding furniture I like. That’s a miracle okay. 😂

This space has been sitting here waiting for its purpose, and all I could picture is an upscale firepit area—cozy, warm, and the kind of spot where everyone ends up at the end of the night. 🥰 When I l showed Matt my vision (thanks ChatGPT) he was on board right away and we got working!

Stay tuned... this one is finally starting to come together. ✨ by @renovatingtheranch

You guys 🥹 This patio + pergola space truly feels like a dream come to life.

Honestly, when we built it last year, I don’t even know that we were really building it for us. We mostly wanted to cover the tiny cracked patio that was there before and make the backyard feel more appealing for a future buyer.

We weren’t thinking about summer dinners out here, date nights after bedtime, hosting family, slow mornings with coffee, or sitting under the lights watching Caden play. And now its all I can see 🤍

Now that we’ve made the decision to stay here longer and add on instead of moving right now, this space feels even more meaningful. We’re not just updating a house anymore — we’re really setting down roots and creating a home that can grow with our family.

Also… after searching for a full year, we finally found a dining set that I LOVE and it made the whole space come together ✨Will it take me another year to find a rug? Stay tuned to find out!

This week I’m moving my energy to figuring out the QP/rock area to the left of this by the entrance from our side gate! Follow along in stories 🫶🏼 by @renovatingtheranch

Fall has never looked so good 🥲🍁👶🏼 I asked Matt to take down all of the fall and winter/Christmas storage bins from the attic yesterday because I wanted to sort through what we have. It was like I went shopping for fall stuff ok 😅 I haven’t TRULY decorated for fall (like more than my entryway table) in like 5 years since we’ve had so much construction here that I had a ton of things I just forgot I had! It was so fun making the house feel cozy, and now I know what spaces I’ll want to focus on adding to next year. 🎃🥰 #falldecorations #fallhomedecor #fallinspo #falldecor #fallstyle by @renovatingtheranch

Welcome to Caden’s room 🥰 For those who have followed along on our journey, this room was initially a dark, tiny space that I quickly painted white when we moved in, but ended up only having a computer desk for a short while before being an empty space or a dog room. But I hoped one day we’d be able to use it as we are now, as a nursery for our child. A few years ago I opened up the old master closet we no longer needed into this room to get a little extra space. And now here we are! I have to do some artwork in here yet, but I love the main wall and how it turned out above his crib 😍😍😍 #nurseryinspo #nurserydecor #nurserydesign #racecarthemednursery #neutralnursery #earthytonenursery #diy by @renovatingtheranch

I’ve been seriously slacking on sharing on my feed, because we haven’t had any serious progress until recently. I’m due with baby boy in less than 3 months and I searched and searched to find the perfect shade of green for his nursery focal wall. Needless to say- I found it 😍 The rest of the room and trim will be painted a fresh coat of white and we’ll be done! by @renovatingtheranch

Anyone else getting that winter weather after the tease of spring weather? 😩 I’m so ready for warm weather and sunshine ☀️ but Mother Nature is giving us a winter weather advisory today through tomorrow with some expected snow accumulation. So here’s our cleaned kitchen, because that’s the one thing I can control, and quite frankly- it really needed to be cleaned 🙌🏼🧹✨New light and outlet cover coming this week 😅😂 #kitchendesign #kitchenremodel #fixerupperstyle #renovationrealities #homedecor #diy #kitchen #modernfarmhouse #modernfarmhousestyle #modernfarmhousekitchen #showusyoursink by @renovatingtheranch

Ready for some bathroom inspiration? I’m hoping to give it to you soon with the final reveal of this space! Are you afraid to do something in your home because although you feel like you can picture it in your head a bit, it’s a big step? JUMP! 👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼This is your sign to jump in and make it real life, because (even with my missing outlet cover) I am so thankful I took this leap and I’m obsessed with the outcome. Curtains and outlet cover coming next! 😝🙌🏼 #shiplapaddict #shiplap #modernfarmhouse #modernfarmhousestyle #modernfarmhousedecor #modernfarmhousediningroom #diningroom #rusticdecor #beforeandafter by @renovatingtheranch

What is your favorite addition to your home? I think my favorite will always be our living room built ins. We have made some serious moves in our home over the last five years 🙌🏼 It’s crazy how much time (& money, blood, sweat, and tears) it truly takes to make a home. #beforeandafter #shiplap #diy #homedecor #livingroomdecor #livingroom #livingroomideas #builtins #modernfarmhouse #modernfarmhousestyle #modernfarmhousedecor by @renovatingtheranch
