POSTS STORIES REELS

Hiya there! My name's Leo, I'm a 20 year old living in London, and since November 2024 I have looked after houseplants with a current collection of 80-90 (and growing!). Follow along with me as I share my plant journey as well as a few crafty projects I've been working on! by @repotandknot

Throwback to last year's @another.plant.swap where I dressed up as a Hoya Compacta! Just glad that everyone loved it and managed to get some great photos.

Now a couple of months later and we're back in London for the next swap! Unfortunately you won't see me dressed up this time, but I absolutely will be for the next one 😂.

Thank you so much to @happy_plant_collector and everyone else involved for all their hard work on the past swaps. See you all there! by @repotandknot

In their natural environment of @kewgardens, here we can see a troop of planty people in the wild. Easily identified by their seemingly random vocalisations of “Banana” and “That’s what she said”, this group examined and documented their surroundings, the concentration clear on their faces and in their body language.
As they moved from greenhouse to greenhouse, they moved in concert ensuring no member of the pack was left behind.
And so we leave them, peacefully gathering sustenance (and items that seemed to be of ritual importance) in the cafe and gift shop, these noisy but gentle planty people in the wild. by @repotandknot

Let's go on a walk together through nature!

This morning I decided to make the most of the nice weather, and do a butterfly walk with with my local group, recording the different species and number of each that we spotted.

Of course, I had to use this as an opportunity to snap some pictures of all the beautiful things I spotted along the way.

Come with me to RHS Wisley!

Today I just thought that I'd make an appreciation post for all the amazing plants and flowers that I spotted during my day out at @rhswisley in March.

There was so much to see and so little time, so I definitely have to go back again soon and spend some more time with the amazing plants on display.

A change of tune today with my Begonia 'White Ice'!

I received this plant during a swap back in early April from @urban.tropiflora and it has done nothing but shoot off new leaves ever since!

I am a massive fan of cane begonias, so with the chance to bring in a new addition to my collection, how could I possibly say no.

My Anthurium Veitchii and I(i)

I couldn't miss this opportunity to take a couple pictures with her in the evening sun; it really brings out her red hue and highlights those veins and ribs!

I purchased this beauty from @urbantropicana mid January, and it's amazing how fast she's grown since then. This new leaf is measuring to be the biggest on the plant, currently sitting around 30cm/1ft, and she absolutely has more growing to do.

Keep an eye out for the final measurement once the leaf has fully hardened off 👀

Say hello to my Anthurium Crystallinum!

She has been with me for a little over a year after receiving her during @_greenka 's 2025 plant giveaway, and has decided to reward my patience with this amazing new leaf with a length of 30cm!

Although we have had our ups and downs over my time owning her, I feel like I am finally coming to a point where I can sit back and appreciate her beauty.

This is only one of the amazing anthuriums in my collection that have decided to boom with new growth this year, so keep an eye out for more to come!

Come and repot my Hoya Callistophylla with me!

I got this beauty from @_greenka a little over a month ago, so I took the time today to separate and repot each plant separately. I removed most of the soil before the video to skip the boring parts.

Of course I had to catch up on @thejunglehaven in the background while I done this!

A little insight into my Hoya collection too! I will definitely have to show off a few of them soon...

Let's unbox my @growtropicals order together!

And to think I was only supposed to be ordering the soil, but I guess a few more plants won't hurt anyone...

All of the plants were packed so well and protected from the cold with a heat pack and foil sheets.

Here's the list of plants I bought:

- Philodendron Melanochrysum
- Anthurium Magnificum
- Anthurium Luxurians 'Platinum'
- Asparagus Setaceous
- Tradescantia Pallida 'Purple Heart'
- Adelonema Wallisii 'Camouflage'

Come with me to @_greenka for their free weekend event!

On the 20th and 21st February, Greenka hosted a free event offering houseplants and free repots to 400+ different customers on each day. Of course I had to swing by and see what they hype was about!

Many thanks to @_greenka and and their very helpful team for making the day as enjoyable and helpful as possible.
