#A2099543 Ted
Staffordshire Terrier Mix | Male | 1 year old | 50 lbs | HW+

Ted stole my heart when I met him 3 weeks ago. He’s a quiet, laid back guy, who doesn’t draw attention to himself. He let me leash him easily and walked well on the leash outside, using the bathroom as soon as he got outside! He wouldn’t take treats from me at first, but after building some trust, he gently took treats from my hand. Ted just needs a calm environment to open up a bit. Once outside, he came over to me, let me put him, and snuggled into my body! Ted is dog friendly and did great in his temp test! I love this guy, and I think he’d be a super chill and lower energy companion for anyone! He is HW+ which is treatable and not contagious!

6 month old Kuno #A2099575 is puppy perfection! Energy, love, fun, all in one!! He is a fun sized husky mix, and he’s ready to be your new BFF!!

He has been a well behaved gentleman at the shelter the full 3 weeks he’s been there, but little man needs to be adopted ASAP before he is in danger of euthanasia for space!

Pleaseeee if you’re considering adopting a puppy, meet Kuno, you’ll fall in love I promise 🤍🤍

🆘 🆘 2 Year old Landon will be euthanized on Saturday, 10/24 🆘.

#A2101842 Landon
Staffordshire Terrier Mix | Male | 2 years old | 59 lbs | HW-

Landon is a sweet laid back guy. He was happy to get outside and seemed interested in other dogs, running alongside them in the runs. I wasn’t able to temp test him, but he showed no signs of aggression to other dogs when we walked by other kennels. I think he would do great in a home where he has space to decompress and relax! He’s just a 2 year old, and he has a whole life of love to give 🤍🤍

Kuno is the sweetest 6 month husky mix puppy! I can’t believe his intake photo looks so drab because he is such a happy vivacious boy!!

He is not currently at risk of euthanasia, but he has been at the shelter for 20 days so he will most likely be added soon for length of stay :( I would love to get a plan together for him before he is in danger!! Please reach out if you can foster in Houston or pledge towards a rescue for his safety!!

#A2098320 Zed
Staffordshire Bull Terrier Mix | Male | 9 months old | 36 lbs | HW-

Zed is such a sweet boy! He’s a little scared of the world, understandably, after being in the shelter for 23+ days as a 9 month old puppy! His behavior notes are great, he is only on the list for his length of stay/time and space issues. He let me leash him easily, but I did have to carry him in and outside because he got anxious and froze up once out of his kennel. Outside, he let loose and ran around, wagging, taking treats very gently, and just soaking up the sunshine. He was friendly with another dog he met but still a little timid, again slow introductions are always important!! He’s a little skinny, his fur is a little thin, and you can just tell life hasn’t been the nicest to him so far. He would thrive in a loving home, where he gets all the treats and comfort he deserves 🤍🤍

UPDATE: Nala is safe with @barkaboutitrescue 🎉🎉 Freedom photo in my story! Please honor your pledges
Venmo: @barkaboutitrescue

🆘 16 w/o Nala will be euthanized on Wednesday, 10/21 🆘.

⏰ Nala must have a HOLD no later than 1PM or she will lose her life 🥺. She needs an adopter or pledges + a local foster for a rescue to help.

🚩 Please do not honor pledges unless the post has been updated with rescue information.

#A2099013 Nala
Staffordshire Bull Terrier Mix | Spayed Female | 16 weeks old | 16 lbs

Nala is your typical wiggly puppy! She had so much energy and just wanted to jump around and give kisses and get pets! She took treats gently and let me pick her up in her kennel! She is only on the list for length of stay and having a treatable doggy cough! I know she would make an incredible addition to someone’s family 🤍🤍 I didn’t get to see how she was with other dogs because of her cold and how young she is, but I would always recommend slow introductions (and wait until her cold has cleared up).
