As a registered nutritionist-dietitian i used to rely on coffee more than i’d like to admit ☕️🤔 But one thing i always tell clients: energy shouldn’t come in spikes and crashes. So i started taking that first step by switching to teas & non-caffeinated drinks.

lately it’s been hojicha, matcha, horchata & gentler sips 🍵
and honestly, my energy feels so much more stable throughout the day!

of course, balanced meals & good timing play a huge role too 😉 it’s never just one thing

In line with Women’s Month, I wanted to share something that sits very close to my heart. 🤍

As a licensed nutritionist-dietitian, I speak with women almost every day about their health and nutrition. So many of these conversations carry the same themes: guilt, pressure, and the feeling that we have to earn our food.

But nourishment was never meant to feel like punishment.

So here’s a gentle reminder to approach food with more compassion and care for your body. 🤍 Save or share this with a woman who might need to hear it today. by @ctmblpz

i work full-time as a nutritionist-dietitian (surprise!! 😅) and while this space has always been my creative outlet, i want to share more health & nutrition stuff too.

so here are my everyday go-to health practices that help me stay well even on busy days 🤍

1. Stay hydrated (yes, it matters)
Hydration does affect energy, digestion, and focus 💦
🫗 Reminder: your water needs may depend on body weight, activity level & caffeine intake (hi coffee & matcha lovers 👀)

2. 🍳 Protein in every meal
Protein isn’t just for gym days 💪
It keeps you fuller longer, supports muscle, hormones, and blood sugar balance.

🥩🐟🌱 Mix it up for variety:
• animal-based: eggs, fish, chicken
• plant-based: tofu, chickpeas, edamame, beans, nuts & seeds
No perfection, just consistency 🤍

3. Colorful plates = happy gut
• The more colorful your plate, the more nutrients you’re getting 🌈
• 🥬 Focus on: fiber-rich carbs, healthy fats, veggies you actually enjoy

Don’t be afraid to explore new foods!nutrition should feel satisfying, not restrictive ✨

4. Walk 10–15 mins after meals
Not just for weight loss. Not for punishment.

🚶‍♀️ Benefits: helps with blood sugar management, supports digestion, less bloating, more comfort

At your own pace! This is a feel-good movement 🤍

5. Prioritize sleep & stress management
Your body can’t reset if it never rests 🤍 Quality sleep + stress care = better hormones, digestion, mood, and cravings.

🌙 Try a calming night routine:
• dim lights
• skincare + journaling
• chamomile or lavender tea
• deep breaths before bed

Rest is productive. Period. 🛌✨ by @ctmblpz
