#WOBhonours -🩵 REUBY 🩵🌈 “Got him when he was 8 weeks old. He was born on April 17, 2013. He was the best dog I've ever had or ever will have. After he passed on May 26, 2021 I became almost apathetic towards other dogs. I know how horrible that sounds! I find that I favor and gravitate toward dogs with similar traits and tend to pull back from dogs that are very different from him. I still love all animals of course, but I just know I'll never be able to love another creature that much. I even kind of go back and forth on having another dog because I feel like it's not fair to that dog knowing that he/she will forever be in second place. But Reub definitely set in stone that if I DID have dogs, I would never be able to have anything except a Berner for the rest of my life. I know it sounds cliche, but he was truly even more than a family member and he changed my life and my whole outlook. I know dogs will always be part of my life in some way or another, but there will always be only one Reuby.” - @reuby_bmd *I want to spotlight your Berners who have crossed over the rainbow, those who aren't well, and those who might be passing soon. When you share your stories with me, I will share your stories with our community.🌎This way, we can all be there to support and grieve together through it all. Each day, 1 post will be dedicated to one of these special Berner bears who make our lives so much brighter!🩵 I will be accepting stories through email only as it is the most organized place. Please email me photos of your Berner who isn't well, might be passing, or has crossed over the rainbow bridge, along with their story. My email is worldofberners@gmail.com. by @reuby_bmd
