@pizzaboxdesignsbikebags posted a good video about why lace up bags are superior and I 💯 agree.
Now I’d like to add to that conversation.
Here is my quick guide to lacing up a frame bag.

Are you interested in a custom bag but don’t live close enough for me to stop by to take measurements?
Grab some paper, a marker, some tape, and follow along!

It’s always been about community.

Before falling in love with bikes, I built memorials with the NYC Ghost Bike Project. During the pandemic, riding became a safe way to see friends, turning isolation into joy + giving me something to look forward to. Park laps were a precious suspension from reality, and stories shared by new cycling buddies got me curious about what was possible.

Three years later, I was racing CX + Road with a couple of teams, and I started a weekly women's ride that's still going strong with over 32K collective miles accumulated to date. Sometimes, all it takes to step into a new challenge is feeling welcome + like you belong.

By leaning into my strengths, I found a purpose beyond simply getting faster. It became important to me to invest in spaces that cultivate social structure, stand on strong values + build confidence for women. Last summer, I founded my own WTFNB hybrid team (part racing, part social club) with one clear priority: we're here for the really good workout, and the whole point is to have fun. We believe in making cycling more accessible, taking pride in who we are + encouraging more women to take up space in the sport.

I’ve been lucky to learn from many driven, thoughtful people across the NYC cycling community, both on the bike and in the shop. Paying it forward has been a key focus, from getting gear back into circulation for riders who need it, to organizing events + hosting our weekly coffee ride.

Whether you're an experienced racer on a team or an enthusiast just starting out, your story, your passion + your goals belong completely to you. I’m excited to partner with HUNT Bike Wheels to explore my favorite routes, meet up with the people who make this community what it is + share more of what makes riding so beautiful here.

Thank you @hunt.road for your support!

Commuting, bikepacking or trick or treating?

You’ll never know, which makes it spooky 👻

Not sure if this matches oil slick accessories but here's what I came up with for @foxfire21 and her fast AF @mosaiccycles

"You're in daddy's hands now." Prospect Park is daddy.

Night Yaps on our fave loop were a perfect way to welcome @thelittlestegg back to Brooklyn after a handful of years in Manhattan. We had to pull over for pics of how great this beloved custom build from @rewdbags is holding up after many adventures, now famously branded by Drew as "The Jesse Colors" combo!

These girls have been friends for years, going back to raising cats + enjoying homemade bread together as roommates. We're looking forward to team laps + Dawn Patrol even more now that Jesse's right around the corner! by @rewdbags

Still making bags, but also my amazing wife @fearmedecember had a birthday, we celebrated our 14th anniversary, the kid turned 17, I turned 41, ran a pop up cafe for High Plains Drifter... Anyways, here's the September photo dump
