On the busy days. On the exhausting days. On the days life feels heavy and training is the last thing I want to do. Even if I only have 20 or 30 minutes, I make those minutes count.

I work around my kids. I work around life. I adjust, I adapt, and I keep moving forward. Because there will always be something trying to get in the way, and I refuse to let it be stronger than my purpose.

I’ll continue to put my family first. I’ll continue to fight to become the best version of myself. And I’ll continue to walk the path God has for me, regardless of who understands it, supports it, or judges it.

At the end of the day, God is the only judge I answer to.
I’m God’s warrior. And I’m not done yet. ⚔️🙏🏼

One of my favorite tools for releasing that stubborn outer leg tension 🙌🏼

I love using a peanut lacrosse ball to work into the quad and hamstring muscles running alongside the IT band, finding those tight trigger points and slowly letting them release.

Tension through this area can be felt all the way around the outside of the knee and up through the hip and glutes, and sometimes you’ll even feel the difference into the low back.

Sometimes stretching the hip isn’t enough. Work around the tension, give it time to release, and then see how your movement feels. 👏🏼

If this area always feels tight, give this one a try. 🎯

This weather though 😮‍💨 Give me hoodies, sweatpants and a good workout and let me stay here for a while. 🍂🤘🏼

There’s just something about this type of weather that makes me want to lock in. Move my body, clear my head, and keep building myself.

I’m feeling good. I’m moving better. My mind feels clearer. And little by little, I’m feeling that fire come back.

Today was back flexibility day. 🤸🏻‍♀️

Being the best version of myself means being able to move, meeting my body where it’s at, and continuing to prove to myself that I can be better than who I was yesterday.

Yes, age can play a factor in some things. I know my limits. I also know what I’m capable of, and I don’t need anyone else deciding that for me.

How I train, how I raise my girls, and how I choose to live my life doesn’t need anyone else’s approval.

If my choices make you uncomfortable, maybe that has more to do with how you see yourself than how you see me.

I’m not trying to be who I used to be. I’m trying to be better. Every day. 🤘🏼

You know I don't pay attention to my age when I don't even know how old I am most of the time. 😂

It was just one of those days where I felt GREAT. 🤘🏼

My movement and coordination keep improving, and I’m just blessed to have the opportunity to keep working on my body and getting stronger.

Yesterday I had 15 dry needles placed around my sacrum and had my hip adjusted. Today, I was finally able to get my left hip as high as my right.

For the longest time, it felt like I had a wall blocking my range of motion. No matter how much I stretched or worked on my mobility, I couldn’t get past it. So being able to move through that range today felt SO good.

Next up ➡️ PT to start working on my hip instability.

Hopefully we can get the popping in my back to improve too, and then I get the green light to turn my training up another notch. 🤘🏼

One step at a time, but damn it feels good to see progress.

Sometimes it's not just about releasing tight muscles. It's about addressing the connective tissue surrounding them, too.

From the lower back all the way up to the shoulders and triceps, fascial restrictions can contribute to that constant feeling of tightness, pulling, and limited mobility.

One area I love focusing on is the lats, especially where they connect near the shoulder. When these tissues aren't gliding comfortably, reaching overhead or rotating your shoulder can feel restricted. You might also experience that dull, nagging tension between your shoulder blades or pressure along the sides of your lower back.

This is where I incorporate cupping with active and passive range of motion. Rather than just placing the cups and letting them sit, I'm using movement to encourage tissue mobility, create a gentle stretching effect, and help those restricted areas move more comfortably.

The goal? Less tension, better mobility, and helping your body move the way it's supposed to. 💪🏼

Your body deserves more than temporary relief. Let's work on restoring movement.

Lately, I've been focusing on strengthening my hip flexors through a greater range of motion, isolating my glutes to help take some of the load off my lower back, and opening up my shoulders and lats to regain the torso rotation I lost during pregnancy.

And YES, the dead hangs are making a comeback!
I've been slowly building my grip strength back up because, as a massage therapist, the last thing I need is a bunch of calluses tearing up my clients. My one arm hangs have also been helping me work on that stubborn shoulder and lat tightness from months of sleeping on my left side.

And those around the worlds? Still a love-hate relationship. Still one of my favorites.

The goal isn't just to be flexible. I want to be STRONG in every range of motion my body is capable of.
I'm getting stronger, my grip is improving, my rotation is coming back, and I'm finally starting to feel that freedom of movement again.

I'm not training just to look a certain way. I'm training to have a body that can actually DO the things I ask of it.
And if I happen to lean out along the way, I won't complain. 😂🔥

I learned at a young age that if I wanted something different for my life, I was going to have to fight for it myself.

And as hard as parts of my childhood were, I wouldn't erase them.

Not because they were okay. Not because every wound needed to happen. But because surviving those years taught me exactly what I wanted to do differently when I became a mother.

I know what it feels like to need protection, so I protect my girls.
I know what it feels like to need someone in your corner, so I make damn sure they know I'm in theirs.
I know what it feels like to have to find strength inside yourself when you're tired, scared, or counted out.

My past explains parts of me, but it doesn't get to make my choices for me.

At some point, you have to decide who you're going to become.

Tired? Get up.
Counted out? Keep going.
Nobody believes in you? Believe anyway.

You can't choose the childhood you were given. But you can choose what you build from it.

And I'm damn proud of what I built. 🤘🏼

Prenatal massage is about giving mama a space to slow down, breathe, and release some of the physical tension that comes with carrying and growing a whole human. 🤍

And my fellow massage therapists… when you feel that heat, tension, or energy in your hands after working an area, who else immediately shakes it off? 😂🙌🏽

Release the tension, don’t absorb it. ✨

As a sports parent, one thing I’ve learned is that not everyone who sees potential in your child genuinely cares about the person behind it.

Some people will pour into them because they believe in them. Others will pour into them because they see what their talent can do for them. And sometimes you don’t learn the difference until later.

That’s why I never want my daughter searching outside of herself or her home for someone to idolize. I want her to see me work. See me struggle. See me stay disciplined. See me get stronger. See me keep showing up.

People, teams, coaches and opportunities will come and go. I’m raising her to know the difference between being valued and simply being valuable to someone.

So yeah… I’ll keep giving her a reason to look up to me. 😏

They said my body was changing because I was getting older.

I kept hearing, “That’s just what happens with age.”
“You’re not going to move the way you used to.”
“Your body slows down.”

And for a minute, when I was struggling, it would’ve been really easy to believe that.

But I didn’t need to accept a weaker version of myself. I needed time. I needed patience. I needed to rebuild my deep core, regain my mobility, work on stability, and actually learn what my body needed.

And today? I felt it.

The control. The strength. The stability. The mobility. The confidence in my movement.

My body wasn’t done. It was rebuilding.

Sometimes people hand you their limitations disguised as advice. You don’t have to accept them as yours.

Anyway… respectfully, I’m gonna keep getting older AND getting better. 😏🤘🏼

You vs. you. Always.

Don’t ask to see the roster. Just trust me.
Bang Bang Niner Gang ❤️🤍

They said somebody else got # 7… weird, considering I paid $20 million for it. 🤨 That ain't shit either.
