Congratulations Rachel and thank you for your powerful, emotionally driven, and heartfelt portrayal of Edith in “Too Many Dead Birds on the Sidewalk” at the SheNYC Festival.

Thank you to the panel of industry judges for this recognition and, as Rachel said in her awards speech, “shoutout @shenycarts for giving so many opportunities to so many underrepresented people.” by @mr.mattoshea

Don’t clean up just yet, because once again we are SPILLING THE TEA WITH HEIDI!

Before you see our production of “What the Constitution Means to Me,” this July, take a minute to sit down with Heidi as she spills the t on American History (and some great community services) ☕️

Joined by Emma and Kit, Heidi teases how for one Supreme Court Justice, the fight for birth control was personal! ⚖️ And we highlight the amazing work that Planned Parenthood Hudson Peconic @pphphealth continues to provide! 🫡

We are looking forward to opening night tonight!

“What the Constitution Means to Me” is one of the most patriotic plays of the last century —Not because it glorifies American culture, but because it reveals American Culture. It honors the hard work put into our government and constitution while asking the question, here and now, “is it enough?”
More than revering the past, this play presents patriotism when it asks a quintessential American question: “what do I want the future to look like?”
We invite you to come on the journey with us tonight, and ask the question for yourself. taken in Irvington Shakespeare Company by @mr.mattoshea
