POV: You work with a LEARNED SILK as a MEDIA ASSISTANT.

When next you see me, I might as well become a Barrister🤭😅

I was privileged to follow my boss the Hon. Attorney General of Anambra State for the RoLAC Programme implemented by the International Institute for Democracy and Electoral Assistance (IDEA).

I watched how the system is bringing about transformation to the state with the educative insights and trainings on PLEA BARGAIN. Making my inputs, this is a high impactful one and a win strategy for the state.

Letter to my 16year old seIf :

Dear Ruby,

Iknow,
I know — you probably think you have everything figured out, but trust me, you don’t. And that's okay. You're going to go through so much in the next few years — some good, some painful, but all of it will shape you into the person you are meant to become. I’ve been where you are, and I want to give you a little guidance, because I’ve learned so much. So, here’s a letter from the future, a glimpse of what I wish I could’ve told you back then.

1. It's Okay to Not Have All the Answers.
I know you’re stressing about the future, constantly wondering what you’ll be doing in a few years. But here’s the thing: You don’t have to know everything right now. It’s okay to not have your whole life planned out. The pressure you feel to have it all figured?

2. Stop Worrying About What Others Think.
You are consumed by what people think about you, whether it's your appearance, your choices, or your personality. But let me tell you something: it really doesn’t matter.

3. You Are Not Defined by Your Mistakes.
You’ll make mistakes, big ones and small ones. And in some moments, you’ll feel like they define you. .

4. Take Care of Your Mental Health.
You might think mental health isn't as important as physical health right now, but trust me, it is. Don’t ignore the moments when you feel overwhelmed or anxious.

5. Don’t Rush Through Life.
Slow down. Life is not a race, and the things you’re so eager to get through now — like finishing school or starting your career — are not as urgent as they feel.

6. Learn the Power of Saying ‘No’.
You’ll be tempted to say yes to everything, to try to please everyone, but it’s okay to say no. Saying no doesn’t make you a bad person.

7. Money Matters — Learn to Manage It Early.
I know you’re thinking you don’t need to worry about money right now, but trust me — start saving, even if it’s just a little.

8. Invest in Learning — It’s the Best Investment You Can Make.
