Death Cab will always = nostalgia. Jamming to this album as a teenager was the best and it’s STILL the best in my late thirties.

We Looked Like Giants by DCFC

Shout out to @rayocampo.art and @kimo.sapiens - so much time spent gabbing about this album. ✨

Also this page has now just become my personal drum journal. 🥁 by @dancenculture

And that’s a wrap on season 1 of Wanna Dance!

We’ve learned so much and are still amazed that people listened to this passion project of ours. 🥹🥰

If you listened for even 30 seconds - we so, so appreciate you!

And if you’re new here, get your listen on! 👂

When you put something like this out there, you have no idea the effects it has. So please reach out if it made you smile or think or dance in any way!

Season 2? Should we? Let us know!

It’s always a battle fighting for the arts. And then within the arts, dance often lacks the respect it deserves. Low pay and oftentimes no credit for dancers and choreographers on projects like music videos, performances, and even big blockbusters!

It’s pretty wild. More and more information is becoming available about dance online (yay!) but we can definitely do better.

Thoughts? Experiences? Sound off, friends! 🗣️ by @dancenculture

Summer = Soca, baby! 🌞

Also, I think it's impossible to not smile when Soca music is on. 😃

A Capricorn’s worst nightmare is starting small. But you gotta!

“Congrats on your failure, most people don’t even try” will be on repeat for years to come.

Our amazing guest, @nat_borch is no stranger to big ideas. Hello @thepinkstudiotoronto AND @cake.cabaret! And if you can believe it, the Pink Studio was the paired down version of the original dream!

If you’re sitting on a big idea, remember that any small step still counts as a step! Writing an email, creating a list, picking colours. You can’t do it all at once.

Dream big and start small, people. ✨

📣 SHE’S GOT A PODCAST YA’LL 📣

Our day one instructor, everyone’s pop dance diva, @riaaikat has just launched a dance themed podcast with her dance bestie @jennalee_d

WANNA DANCE is a must listen because their energy is infectious and because there are a few pink studio students and staff being interviewed! 🩷🙌

Go support their podcast! And enjoy a clip from Ria guest starring in her class’s recital performance a few years ago.
