What is this cute creature I spotted in the kitchen yesterday, which we then befriended? I suspected it might be a field vole, but please put your best guesses in the comments. 🐭 by @richarddedomenici

Last night I found a robot gloryhole. 🤖

The other day I got to stroke a capybara and a duck at the same time! Thank you for your warm welcome @capybara_knight!

How nice to see this depiction of @ActuallyChristinaHendricks at This Is Still Not a Pipe: The Afterlife of Magritte, an exhibition dedicated to René Magritte and his enduring influence on the art of today, at @Gagosian Grosvenor Hill until December 12th.

The painting is titled Lamentation, by artist John Currin (2025, Oil on canvas, 65x44 inches).

So great to see LAPTOP, one of my favourite acts of the 90s, live for the very first time at SJQ last night! New EP out now, including a remix by Les Rythmes Digitales. Link in bio!

I advocate keeping Central London’s only Shibuya-style X crossing - installed in 2009, and possibly a bit less necessary when traffic is removed from Oxford Street* tomorrow - because it’s fun.

(A 2023 Westminster Council report by WSP advocated the introduction of a two-stage crossing system and the removal of the diagonal crossing.)

PS. I have an excellent idea for how to pedestrianise the remaining eastern half of Oxford Street, which only requires the partial demolition of one building of low architectural merit between Newman Street and Rathbone Place..

NB. There are 11 other X crossings in London. Let me know if you want me to visit them all.

If you’re bored tomorrow, do get a bus down Oxford Street* for the final time EVER, before pedestrianisation kicks in on Monday!

This weekend is your final opportunity to ride a bus up and down Oxford Street* before pedestrianisation on Monday. I recommend doing so at 8am when all the shops are shut.

Last night Cam, Luci and I went to see Harry Hill do some stand-up comedy at The Tommyfield.

But when it began we discovered that Harry wasn’t actually on the bill, which was a bit discombobulating. 🫠

However Romesh Ranganathan and Ed Byrne performed for us instead, yay! 🤭
