However, it’s especially fun when we get to highlight some of our newest and youngest authors that work all summer long to write and illustrate their own books in the Young Authors program! #RichardsonPublicLibrary #NationalAuthorsDay by @richardsonlibrary

Richardson Public Library is heading home! This week, movers began relocating 144,271 items from the temporary location to the Library’s newly renovated home on the municipal campus at 421 W. Arapaho Rd. Patrons are helping lighten the load, with 65,283 items currently checked out! Moving the collection is expected to take about three weeks. Work is also underway to prepare Library event spaces and staff offices. Progress on the move and final preparations will help determine when a grand reopening date can be announced. When the doors reopen, more than 4,500 brand-new books will be ready for you to check out! Visit www.cor.net/LibraryRenovations for more information. by @richardsonlibrary
