Watching a deserving woman receive her flowers while she’s here to enjoy the smell of them. I believe in celebrating strong women, my mother was one and I married another one!
Men, celebrate your women, the mother of your children, or simply the one who’s been by your side at your lowest points. Mine has been a fortress strength and comfort at my LOWEST points. The times when I felt like I had lost everything, she got in the trenches with me and grabbed me by my collar and used her love to drag me back out, so celebrating her or even WITH her when she is being celebrated is my time to feel the pride of being her husband☺️❤️❤️#myrock❤️ # by @rickeygadson

Friday night my wife was one of the trailblazers recognized by the city of Richmond for being a STRONG women who figured out how to balance life between being mother of 5 and Working toward a career that would see her advance to the position of Sergeant and earn her many awards of appreciation. She spent over a decade working nights risking her life so she could be at home morning’s to send the kids off to school and be there when they got home. She is anxiously counting down the days till retirement in 2028.🤗☺️☺️. #proudhusband by @rickeygadson

This is a daily struggle to NOT let these thoughts occupy the space in my days, but nobody BUT somebody who’s been in this space could EVER understand how I’m forever changed. The smiles, the laughter, the getaways, …mean NOTHING! Unlike other fathers, I can no longer pickup the phone and share my days or weekends with my youngest child#foreverlai #lailadragonfly #afatherslove❤️ 🥺💔💔💔 by @rickeygadson

Somehow I always showed up and showed out for my hometown crowd. In an amazing effort, I would hardly let anyone beat me year after year at my home track Atco raceway🤗🤗🏆🏆🥇🥇 lookatthecrowdswedrew by @rickeygadson
