I must tell you trek is not easy 🫠

22km walking in rains ( Heavy rains while returning) was not at all easy. But but but all worth it for this crazyyyy viewwww.

A must visit for sure ✨

Have you had your own natural private pool ?

This is how Day 1 of Konkan trip went.
When I was planning my trip to konkan I wanted to not do the mainstream places but visit the actual raw konkan, the villages of Konkan, unexplored and offbeat konkan and that's when i met @konkantravelclub

I must say I had the best 2 days of my life by exploring the hidden gems of Konkan with @konkantravelclub

Don't ask me the location of this place, because want this place to be the way it is right now raw and unexplored.😊

It has a mix of everything amazing food, temples, greenery, beaches and a huge cafe culture ✨🤘🏻

📍Kalu waterfall is KING 👑 of waterfalls
We got to know why, when we visited it.
It is worth every bit of the hype ✨⭐️

Details of how to reach there:
Base village name : Sawarne village
Trek : Moderate
Can get risky during heavy rainfall because of water crossings and slippery path to the top.
Duration to reach : 2.5 hours from Mumbai
Please put kalu waterfall parking point in the google maps to reach the start of the hike.
Malshej ghat roads are so smooth to ride.
Time: 2 hours one way to reach the waterfall

Best on weekdays, weekends are crowded.

Two ways to see the falls up close one from below which reaches the base of waterfall and one you will have to trek little above to get the top view. We took the 2nd one.

Things to carry: Good trekking shoes, rain wear.
There are food stalls where you get Maggie bhajiya etc.
