A smile isn’t just cosmetic. It’s how you introduce yourself before you say a word.

It’s the job interview. The first date. The photo your kid will keep.

You’ll hear about this night either way. Better to hear it from your seat.

On November 12th, the Smiles Under the Stars Gala is happening, and honestly, you’re going to want to be in the room. Good food, good music, great company, and every ticket goes toward giving someone a smile they’ve been waiting years for.

These nights don’t come around often, and the people who were there will be talking about it for a while. Don’t be the one watching it on everyone else’s stories.

No child should have to live with dental pain just because care feels out of reach. At Giving A Smile, we’re working to change that, one smile at a time.

We’d love for you to be part of it. Join us Thursday, November 12 at The Beverly Hilton for our 2nd Annual Smile Under the Stars Gala, hosted by Kelsey Grammer. Expect a beautiful evening, great company, and a room full of people who care about the same thing you do.

Can’t make it? A donation of any size still goes straight toward helping a child get the care they need.

We were honored to join @foxla to share the mission behind the Giving A Smile Foundation.

Dr. Rodney Raanan stopped by the studio to talk about the work we do, the lives a smile can change, and our upcoming gala this November.

Thank you to FOX 11 for helping us spread the word. Every smile matters, and we can’t wait to celebrate with our community this fall.

Massive calculus build up after years of no cleanings 👀 by @rifkinraanan

A smile doesn’t always need to be dramatically changed to make a dramatic difference.

This patient wanted a wider smile with teeth that showed more naturally when she smiled. One of her biggest concerns was that her left central and lateral incisors were nearly the same length. She didn’t want an obvious, dominant central incisor, just better balance, brighter teeth, and a smile that felt fuller and more harmonious.

Using my NuVeneer™ technique, we were able to conservatively widen her smile and subtly lengthen her teeth while preserving as much of her natural tooth structure as possible. Minimal preparation is a core part of my philosophy because once healthy enamel is removed, it can never be replaced.

For me, great cosmetic dentistry isn’t about creating a smile that looks “done.” It’s about enhancing what’s already there in a way that feels natural, timeless, and uniquely yours.
If you can tell I did it, I didn’t accomplish my goal. by @rifkinraanan

By the time your gums hurt, it’s often too late. 😬

Gum disease is one of the most common and most silent dental problems out there. Nearly half of adults have some form of it, and most have no idea, because it rarely hurts until it’s advanced.

The good news? It’s incredibly manageable when caught early. Here are 5 things about your gum health worth paying attention to 👉

Bleeding when you brush isn’t “normal.” It’s usually the first warning sign, and the most reversible. And healthy gums aren’t just about your smile; gum health is linked to your heart, blood sugar, and overall wellbeing.

If it’s been a while since your last cleaning, this is your sign. Early attention is everything. by @rifkinraanan

How long do you brush your teeth for ? Watch until the end for the answer 🦷 by @rifkinraanan

Gum recession is one of the most common things we see in patients 55+ and most had no idea it was happening. Which one surprised you? by @rifkinraanan
