SIX days to go 💪✨ One of our favorite things about doing this event is the people we meet and the friends we make 👯 Inspired by us? You are our reason why 💜 Come out on Sunday, enjoy the beautiful weather, make a new friend, and eat a great pretzel from @wawa with our friend Chris. What could be better?! by @project_purple_pretzel_run

POKÉMON GO FEST CHICAGO

This GO Fest was special, as it marked the 10th anniversary of the game. It also brought me to Chicago for the first time!

The city play portion reminded me of those nights in Central Park when the game first started, where crowds of people would take over for a chance to catch a rare Pokémon. The park experience felt really well done this year, too. Plus, for the first time outside of Japan, the Pokémon Fossil Museum exhibit was here, so I had to check it out. Nearly 95,000 steps in 3 days, and I enjoyed every moment!

Chicago (now called WEST JERSEY after we took over), I can’t wait to do it again next year!

We are ending 2026 with a BANG! 💥💥💥

I’m continuing my goal of at least 1 5k a month for 2026! 2 in October, 1 in November and 1 and December 🏃🏾‍♂️💨

I’m finishing up my second trifecta in NY and FL 🛫

And my New Year’s resolution of doing the Rocky Run half marathon is a GO! 😈

Are you heading to any of these? Let me know 👇🏽 by @project_purple_pretzel_run

MEDAL MONDAY - NJ Turnpike Five K

Y’all got me running in a NOR’EASTER and on a highway ramp ☠️
My time may have been better if the wind wasn’t in my face and if I didn’t stop to take pictures with my highway signs. Oh well. Proud of us for going out and doing the damn thang!

PS: I sound crazy in the video at the end but how many people can say they ran through the toll booths?
