Different therapists, different areas of focus, one common thread 🧵

From trauma and anxiety to relationships, life transitions, sleep, and everything in between, we each bring our own experiences, training, and perspectives to the work we do. But what connects us is how we show up. With warmth, curiosity, compassion, and a genuine understanding that being human can be hard sometimes.

We’re not here to have all the answers or to tell you how to live your life. We’re here to meet you where you are, help you make sense of what you’re carrying, and figure things out together.

At Common Thread, we believe good therapy is about more than what we know. It’s about how we make you feel while we work through it together.

Drop the guilt, keep the boundaries ✨

So much love went into creating this room, and we hope to put that love back out into the world through the work that happens here.

This space was created specifically for couples and families. For the hard conversations, the moments of understanding, the patterns that need breaking, the relationships worth fighting for, and the small shifts that bring people closer together.

For partners learning to find each other again. For parents and children working to understand one another. For families figuring out how to navigate the messy, complicated, very human experience of being in relationship with each other.

We believe connection matters. And we’re pretty grateful that we get to help people nurture it.

Welcome to our new couples and family therapy space at Common Thread. 🤎

We make tiny accommodations for ourselves all day long without thinking twice about it .

Your nervous system learned what it needed to feel safe, and healing can include learning to listen to it without feeling like you have to explain yourself.

No pressure… but your trauma called 👀

One year married, and he sure as heck knows why I’d be unfit for war - even if he decided after 9 reasons, that I could just test it out for myself 😅

All jokes aside, pretty lucky to do life with him, and have someone who knows & supports everything.

I see a theme of sleep, and how much I cherish it & comfort 😅

I’m excited to share that I am now offering Walk & Talk Therapy 🌱

Sometimes walking side-by-side feels more natural than sitting face-to-face.

Being outdoors, moving your body, and stepping away from the traditional office setting can create a different therapeutic experience.

As with any therapy approach, we’ll talk about whether Walk & Talk Therapy is appropriate for your goals and needs.

If you’ve been curious about what it looks like, or wondering if it’s right for you, send me a message 🌱

Healing can include big breakthroughs and small victories.

Some of these moments might seem small, but they’re often evidence that real change is happening.

Healing is less about becoming someone new, and more about responding to life in ways that honor who you are/want to be.

What’s your biggest win right now?!
