每一次的展示活動，
都是一次不同的體驗。
只是說真的，
結果往往都不如預期。

這次的 @tedxpetalingstreet 年會，
中場休息的時間真的很短，
大家來去匆匆，
願意停下腳步的人也不多。

但還是很感謝每一位
願意停下來看看我們的作品、
聽聽我們故事的朋友。

也謝謝站到最後的同伴們。🫡

很荣幸这一次能与TEDx茨厂街，马来西亚首个中文TEDx合作。

從今年的主題ROOTS出發，想像一個戰士回到「最原始的自己」會是什麼樣子。

所以我沒有只是把 TEDx 的 X 放在角色身上，而是把 X 變成一種戰士的印記，直接畫在他的臉和身體上。

像是在出發以前，提醒自己：
「我是誰，我從哪裡來。」

頭盔上的羽毛和比較原始的元素，也是從土地、自然與祖先留下來的痕跡延伸出來。它不是要代表某一個特定族群，而是借用「回到根源」的視覺語言，讓這個戰士像是重新找到自己的根，再一次站起來。

ROOTS不只是我們從哪裡來，
也是在一直往前走的時候，
提醒我們為什麼會站在這裡。

因為相信，所以站著。

THE BURNING WOOD 🔥🌳
Junny Studio × Rise Warrior

The fire doesn't make him stronger. It reveals how strong he already is.

Inspired by the mythical Immortal Tree (不死树) from the ancient Chinese text Shan Hai Jing (山海经), this artwork explores the meaning of resilience through fire.

Rise is a character who refuses to fall, even when he doesn't win, even when nobody notices him.

But what happens when someone who refuses to fall faces a challenge far greater than expected?

To me, fire represents the challenges we face in life. It can destroy, but it can also reveal something we couldn't see before.

Being strong doesn't mean we can't get hurt.

We may get burned, we may carry scars, but that doesn't mean we've been defeated.

And that's the spirit I wanted to capture in The Burning Wood.

A collaboration between @risewarrior5 and @junny.studio, bringing two artistic identities together through my Shan Hai Jing Series.

And yes, I'll be bringing this piece to an event at Haining at the end of this month! 🇨🇳🔥

Another dream collaboration! 🔥🌳

I first discovered @risewarrior5 at last year's SuperToy Fest, and I instantly fell in love with his work!

Later on, I had the chance to connect with the artist, @dickchua and found out that he actually loved my recent art style too!

And that's how this collaboration began! 👀

For this custom, I'm turning Rise into "The Burning Wood," inspired by the mythical Immortal Tree (不死树) from the ancient Chinese text Shan Hai Jing (山海经).

Combining this inspiration with Rise's spirit of resilience, I wanted to explore a simple question:

What happens when a character who refuses to fall is surrounded by flames?

Will the fire finally break him, or reveal something we couldn't see before?

明天，就是台北國際玩具展了。

這次我本人沒有機會到現場，
但很榮幸，有兩件合作作品會在那裡出現。
非常感謝兩位來自香港的玩具設計大師的邀請，
讓我有機會用自己的方式，
重新詮釋他們的角色。

1️⃣第一件，是這隻鳴狐。

剛拿到它的時候，
我第一個顧慮的，是它本身的夜光材質。
我希望它在亮燈前和熄燈後，
都能有各自不同、但同樣好看的樣子。

所以我嘗試用毛筆掃出毛髮的紋理。
這個效果其實只有一次機會，
因為再多掃一次，感覺就會不一樣。
很開心最後出來的效果，
和我當初想像中的一樣。

身體的部分，
我配上了帶銀色金屬感的盔甲，
讓整個角色有一種閃閃發亮的感覺。

而既然是一隻狐狸，
我也想給它多一點性格。
所以它嘴裡咬著一卷金色卷軸。
明明身上已經一身銀甲，
還是不滿足想再多拿一樣金色的東西。
有一點貪，也有一點可愛。😂

2️⃣第二件作品是一隻魔杖。
則延續了我之前 Unearthed 的概念。

粗糙、斑駁的外表，
像是經歷過時間的磨損與歲月的摧殘。
但在那層外殼裡面，
依然藏著像寶石一樣的光。

Unearthed不只是把它從歲月裡挖掘出來，
而是讓那些曾經被掩蓋的美麗，
重新被看見。

而因為這一次的作品本身是一枚吊飾，
我也順著這個造型，
加入了屬於 Rise Warrior 的盾牌。

盾牌背後，
藏著一句我很喜歡的話：
“When you can’t see the light ahead,
take just one more step.”

也許當你暫時看不見前面的光，
能做的，
就只是再往前一步。

很可惜這次不能親自到台北，
但很開心，
至少我的作品先替我去了。😎

本次共有三款作品進行會場抽選：�

凡於攤位購買五輪產品，單筆消費滿 NT$1,300，即可獲得 1 次抽選資格。
每筆交易不論消費金額，最多獲得 1 張抽選票。�
● 抽選登記
每次抽選資格只可登記一款作品。�
● 抽選方式
三款作品將分開獨立抽選。�
● 公開抽選

● Eligibility
Customers who purchase GORIN products at the booth with a single transaction of NT$1,300 or more will receive 1 lottery entry.

● Lottery Method
The three items will be drawn separately and independently.
