Maybe the trip is complete, but the dream of exploring Spiti on your own terms will keep growing.

Woke up in Chicham Village, surrounded by the raw mountains of Spiti Valley 🏔️

#chichamvillage by @rishavlegacy

Everyone talks about Spiti Valley.

But why is nobody talking about Darma Valley?

A remote Himalayan valley near the India-Tibet border, surrounded by massive peaks, ancient villages, and roads that test your nerves.

Spiti is famous.
Darma is forgotten.

Spiti is explored.
Darma still feels like an expedition.

No tourist crowds. No long café lists. Just raw mountains, remote landscapes, and one of the wildest road trips in Uttarakhand.

Would you dare visit a valley that most travelers have never even heard of?

Save this for your next Himalayan adventure.

Bir is calling you 🫵

Bir Billing is not just a place.
It feels like freedom in the mountains. 🏔️

Fly above the Himalayas with paragliding from Billing to Bir — one of the most unreal experiences in India.
Watch endless valley views from Billing Top, especially during sunset.
And end your evening at the Bir Landing Site, where colorful paragliders fill the sky with the perfect mountain vibe.

If you want the full Bir itinerary, hidden spots, cafés, and budget guide — comment “BIR” ✈️ by @rishavlegacy

When they ask,
“When are you coming back?”

I wish I could just say,
I don’t want to go.

But life doesn’t always move with the heart.
Sometimes responsibility speaks louder.

The road was rough and broken.
Off-road most of the way.
Snow on the road and a deep valley on the side.

Every turn felt risky,
but the view made you forget the fear.

This is Darma Valley in Uttarakhand.
Raw roads, silent mountains, and nature at its wild best.

While driving here, one thought kept coming back.
Mummy sahi kehti thi. Phone ke bahar real world hai.

Some journeys don’t start easy,
but they teach you more than smooth roads ever can.

……….
How to reach Darma Valley:
You can go via Tanakpur.
There are also direct buses from Anand Vihar to Dharchula.
From Dharchula, take a local jeep towards Darma Valley (season dependent).

Important
if you’re going by your own car:
Fuel your tank fully.
After 8 pm between Tanakpur and Dharchula, petrol pumps usually close.
