For this year’s edition of MURAL Festival, @b0rdalo_ii created a towering sculpture - while wildfires caused Montreal to temporarily have the worst air quality in the world. @RiskyPlay519 was there to capture the story, and we’re pleased to now share the film created by @directorken .This piece uses discarded objects collected from the public to raise awareness about pollution and its consequences, most notably on climate change. Since 2012, Bordallo II has salvaged approximately 115 tons of material, a number that has grown thanks to this sculpture.—Pour la 11e édition du Festival MURAL, @bordalo_ii a créé une imposante sculpture alors que des incendies de forêt faisaient temporairement vivre à Montréal la pire qualité de l’air au monde. @RiskyPlay519 était là pour capturer cette situation - et nous sommes heureux de partager le film qui en découle !L’œuvre utilise des objets jetés collectés auprès du public pour sensibiliser à la pollution et à ses conséquences, notamment sur le réchauffement climatique. Depuis 2012, Bordallo II a récupéré environ 115 tonnes de matériaux, un chiffre qui a augmenté grâce à cette sculpture. by @summitgood_s
